They were recommended by several people and they do a bunch of work for Oak Run. Well, unfortunately I would never recommend them to anyone and I am sorry that I used them. They installed handicap bars too close to the outer wall of the shower so that I couldn't get frameless shower doors. I had to instruct one worker on the proper place to start and run the boards for the vinyl planking. They used the paint I supplied for the ceilings to paint the inside of my closet. After waiting 2 weeks for shower doors, the first time I used the shower it shot water out at the pipe threads. One of the sink faucets was loose within 3 days. They were the messiest workers I have ever encountered and even left all the mess under both sinks after installation. The icing on the cake happened today when they came to repaint the bathroom after doing such a shoddy job the first time. These are pictures taken after they left today. Trust me, it looks worse in person. The picture with the pencil circles still on the walls is my favorite. They just totally ignored where their boss wanted them to paint. I am just totally disgusted. The walls are spotty, paint runs in the corners from too much paint on the roller, the cutting in around the light switch is a joke. Now I am left to try and fix all of this. I see no reason to let them try and do it correctly a third time.

. They arrived a day early, discovered the sprinkler system had a broken line.  This line was immediately repaired.  Discovered a crack in the carbon filter, disconnected and replaced with a filter the following day.  Jack and Dona

The faucet installation was very well done and we were satisfied.  However, the re-grouting was another issue.  The re-grouting itself was well done, we have no complaints on the work........however, the clean-up was very poor.  The film from the grouting was left on the tile and I was told this would come off at the next shower.  Well, there has been several showers taken and much time spent with a sponge trying to clean up the film, but it is still not all cleaned up.  Although the re-grouting was done only half up, the ceiling in the shower (also tile) is covered with film which I assume is from the grinding to remove the old grout.  This should have been cleaned before leaving the job.  Also, the drain should have been covered during the work.  Instead we have grout in the drain....not acceptable.  We are senior citizens and the clean-up has been difficult.....but seniors or not, we should not have had to deal with this.  My son is a contractor up north and his favorite saying is that the most important tool that a contractor owns is his shop vac!

For the sewage backup, we contacted several contractors to fix our issue and he was by far the cheapest. He is about $100 less than everyone else I call. He is very punctual, does great work, and always cleans up after himself. I was shocked at how honest and hard working they are, I couldn't believe it!

We initially asked the installer if he could install our new microwave oven above our stove. Explaining in detail, that my wife wanted it higher so her large pots would fit on the stove top with enough sufficient clearance between the units. To have this done, we needed them to cut into the upper two cabinet doors half way, reattach the hardware and finish with a nice professional look. The two men, surveyed the job and said they could do it, and do the electrical also for around $250, and we agreed to the price. They worked on the job for about 2-21/2 hours. When done, we were excited to have the job done, and our oven operational, but cosmetically, there was/is much to be desired. Their cabinet work was very poor, crooked handle on one door, hinge was angled on the bottom of the other, plus they used off colored caulk to cover laminate panel gaps in the finished sides. They also scratched the top of our brand new range top control panel. 
(Note:At the time of this kitchen work, we also had a new roof going on the house where the roofers were actively working.)
As the kitchen repair men were working on the microwave vent duct, they were conversing with the roofers to duct movement and the repositioning. Repairmen had stated, they needed to push the vent pipe 16 inches up above the roof, and that the roofers could cut the remaining vent pipe to fit their cap, which they did. After another 1/2 hour the kitchen men said they were done, cleaned up all the dust, tools, and particle board fragments, collected their check and left. All in all, we were not at all thrilled with the finished appearance,and with all this, the roofers called something to our attention after the Friendly Home Repair crew had left. It seems, upon their completion with our microwave vent, the repairmen had pulled down the vent stack to fit their opening, and left a section opening in the attic with no connection at all. The roofers were done cleaned up and left, we called the Friendly Home Repair owner to please finish their job. They came back later, went in the attic, and added a piece to connect the vent, but they charged us for their supplies which we thought was not fair. That should of been included in the total price on the job plus we should not have had to call them back to fix their mistakes in the first place.

Called on a Monday and set up appt. for Thursday. Shawn called on Tuesday saying they had finished a job earlier than expected and were in my area and could install the toilet then if I wanted. I told them to come on over. They were friendly, conscientious and efficient. I also asked them to move some beds for me and set up some new ones. This is not something they normally do but since they were there they smiled and obliged. I paid them an extra $25 for that service which was well worth it. I definitely recommend getting a quote from these young men and if you are given a price you like, hire them!

This is a fairly new house. The builder had just about everything installed awful, from plumbing to electrical I had new windows installed and that is a big mess. Called the co. several times and noreply. Now these people Shawn Richert and his coworker, are 2 young men, professional, friendly. and the job was excellent, they know what they are doing, They clean up after themselves and I must say I will call them back to fix up some of the messes the other people have done.I will strongly recommend them to anyone

Well done, on time, and calls ahead to confirm arrival, schedule, etc. Would definitely recommend him
