They say they don't charge a delivery fee but they charged us $200. They told us when we bought that they stand by all the products they sell and that they would be there for us to take care of anything we might need. We believed them because we thouht they had a good reputation. That was in 2009. In 2012, when our Mitsubishi unit didn't function properly, they told us there is a defect in the unit and Mitsubishi wouold have to suppply the part. They were of little help in getting us in touch with Mitsubishi. When we finally reached someone at Mitsubishi, it was someone in the Phillpines that said Mitsubishi does not make that TV anymore and does not have the parts but that Mitsubishi offered to replace it at our expense for an $1800 TV (that we would pay) of some name we've never heard of. We have had Panasonic TVs for years and have never had any problems nor have we had any problem with the Panasonic we purchased from Bob's TV. We would have never bought the Mitsubishi TV but for the push by Bob's TV regarding that unit. Because of the indifference in how they have handled this situation, we now question whether or not Bob's TV knew long in advance that Mitsubishii would be discontinuing that product and we would have no service available and whether or not our unit was discounted to them to get rid of at the expense of the consumer/us.

"Our delivery and set up fees are included; the $200 charge was for the labor for wall mounting and running cables through the wall only. All charges were mentioned to (Member) before the delivery and were also included on the invoice. We did reach out to Mitsubishi on our end when we first heard of the defect from (Member), at which time they informed us that only the customer could call to remedy the situation. We then gave (Member) the Mitsubishi customer care number and explained what steps she needed to take when she called. I apologize if you were at all unhappy with our services and feel that we did not do all we could to make this a pleasant experience. We do wish this had gone better for you, but feel that we did everything in our power to take care of the issue. As you can see from all of our other reviews, we take great pride in our work and have a great track record with pleasing our customers."

I liked the way he handled the work. The problem was hard to diagnose and he never did solve it completely, but it went away and after I brought it home for a month, it has come back. I am probably going to take it back to him, but he didn't charge me anything. He could have charged me and I would have paid him, but he didn't. He couldn't find the problem, but that may not be fair. I probably might use his services next week.

The work was very satisfactory! They charged us for the repair, but the problem eventually came back, so on the second visit, they swapped out our TV. Instead of refunding that initial charge for service, they just swapped the TV. I would recommend them!

Tv lamps are expensive and I believe the lamp was the same price as others of same brand... The year before the lamp had burned out when the tv was just two years old... Bought cheaper one then from an independent repairman but it was off brand and didn't last long... No problem with lamp from Bobs TV. As for burned out tv cost was $135 i think...steep for a 15-20 year old tv but worth it to have one size I needed for the space it fits. I chose to do it... They warned me it would be pricey... I believe they have been honest.

The experience was okay overall. They were unable to find the part that needed to replaced and charged us $75 just to diagnose the problem. The technician did try to find a TV stand for us and followed up with us on that.

They’re really nice and the same people have worked there for years. It’s a small, family-owned business. They are a bit more expensive than other places like Best Buy, but they were good to work with overall!
