Wallace Volkswagen

We drove two hours to Wallace Volkswagen in Stuart FL to have our  Golf get its 80,000 mile service.  Their service was excellent!  The price was $300 LESS than Prestige Volkswagen in Melbourne FL for the 80,000 mile service.  We had suspected we were being overcharged at Prestige, but now we know.  We'll never go back to Prestige.  Wallace is HONEST and FAIR!

My girlfriend and I went to look at VW Sportwagen TDI’s. I wanted to business with Wallace Volkswagen in Stuart Florida because we are planning to move to the Stuart Florida area and we like to deal locally because its important to us. When we got there we dealt with salesman Bruce Engel and we told him that we were interested in a Sportwagon 6 speed manual TDI. All they had were automatics and we told him straight off that we were willing to wait for a manual to come in. When I told this to Bruce Engel, he came back with "I do not have a 6 speed manual to sell you and my goal today is to sell cars. Since you're not interested in the automatic today I don't have time for you." At that time another couple walked in the door and he started to walk away from us. I told him that I would still like to test drive the automatic and he wouldn't allow us to test drive the automatic because he said that we were not ready buyers and he then continued to walk towards the other couple, leaving us high and dry. I then walked up to Bruce and told him that we were  there to do business, not to waste anyones time and that he was making a big mistake by treating us as he did! I then left with my girlfriend and took my business to Schumacher Volkswagen in West Palm Beach where we got a great deal and purchased a new 2015 Sportwagen TDI SE. I'm not holding this experience against the entire Wallace Volkswagen dealership itself and readers may still want to check this dealership out when looking to purchase a Volkswagen, however I strongly feel that both Wallace and their future customers sure do not need rude unprofessional salesmen like Bruce Engel working there to drive away business that they could have had as salesman Bruce Engel did to us!.

They're good and I've been there a few times. The people are generally pleasant and they do a good job. They change my car's oil for $10. They're responsive enough to return calls.

They are nicer, more resonable, and care more than my previous dealership.
