Don't use Torres Painting The biggest problem is they painted our house the wrong color. I had provided the color number and name by email for the Sherwin Williams paint to match our detached garage and house. When I noticed the house was two different colors, William told me it was the older paint had faded. When I asked about the areas were the sun didn't shine on them, he then changed the story to I had agreed to have him chip off a piece of stucco to do a color match. Mind you I had the can of paint with the correct information in my garage. He told me we walked around the house and he had shown me where he removed the stucco to match. I asked him why instead of walking around the house didn't I walk 20 feet into my garage and get the can of paint, I was met with a blank stare. I asked about the email I had sent with the correct information and he stated he had deleted or lost it. I asked why he didn't contact me to get the correct information before he bought the paint and he stated that he tried to call me once and I didn't pick up. I asked why I never received a message and he stated he didn't leave one. I told him I had the picture in my phone from before and could have texted it to him or resent the email. He kept trying to blame me and we will never really know why he chose to use another color. William agreed to repaint our house the correct color, but keeps pushing the start date off. I do not feel he is a man of his word about repainting, so I will have to file a law suit to get our money back and have someone else repaint the house. This doesn't even address the sloppy workmanship that led to me discovering the different colors. There are multiple places where he didn't paint, as well as where he painted parts of the white trim and our blue roof. He left a mess of paint cans and buckets. He talked a good story to get the job about caulking the windows and repairing nail holes in wood, masking against over spray, and cleaning up after the job. He did not deliver on any of the aspects of the job. Not the color or quality of the job I would have expected for the $6000 we paid. I would never recommend them to anyone and am embarrassed by how our house looks now.
