They charged $868 to replace my well pump (I have a well for irrigation only and am on city water for everything else). I've used this company twice in the past (2010 to replace a pump motor which cost $438 and again in 2016 to replace the same motor which cost $455). I have found them to be less than friendly in the past but they seemed to be the only gane in town. After receiving my invoice for the latest work, it broke down like this: 1/2 hour service call - $75, one and 3/4 hours labor - $105, Miscellaneous parts $50 and $596 for a pump and motor, plus $41.99 sales tax. After the service was performed, I was made aware that the pump and motor usually sells for $434 with free shipping. I brought my bill and proof of the lower price to their office on Monterey Road and asked if they could adjust the price of the pump down so that it would be more in line with the $434 price (a difference of $162). I was told I would have to pay the full amount and that no adjustment could be made. I took out my credit card and was then informed that if I paid by credit card, there would be an additional 3% fee. I will be bringing them a check and it will be the last time I have any dealings with them and rest assured, I will inform my friends and neighbors about their business practices and how they treat repeat customers.

I called at 9am and was told that Tom would contact me in about an hour - it was actually 4 hours later that he called and 15 minutes beyond that when he arrived. Having done business with them on another occasion, I knew how busy they get, so I expected that it would be longer. I feel the office should be a little more realistic when giving a time (or maybe provide a window say "2 to 4 hours" instead}. Aside from that, Tom was FANTASTIC! I didn't feel gouged or taken advantage of - in less than an hour he had isolated the problem to a bad pressure switch, consulted with me, changed out the defective part, billed me and left. There was no "milking the clock" - there was professionalism and confidence in what he was doing which made me confident in my decision to call them. I now have their number in my phone contacts and would not hesitate to call them again. Honest pricing for honest work - a rare find these days!

I called St. Lucie Pump because we were experiencing household water problems (very little water flow) through our faucets and believed the problem was with our pump.
Melita answered the phone and proceeded to ask me detailed questions about our water system. I passed the phone to my husband so he could answer the more technical questions and she suggested we should do further research on our problem and what to look for in the water system. He then went and began to dismantle the water softener and started to realize that it was likely the culprit. After getting positive results, I called the office again and thanked them for the help Melita had given us.

I had a real bad
smell when I used the water in my home so I called St Lucie Pump and Water.
Boy was that a mistake. There man came out to my house and I was told that I
needed a sulfur eliminator that would
cost almost $2000. Thinking that it would take care of my problem I agreed to
have it installed After it was installed the water still smelled bad. So I
called St Lucie Pump and Water. When there man came out I was told that the
smell must be coming from my pipes So he put chlorine in the pipes and told me to leave it set for four hours and then run
the water at all locations. After a few
days I had to call them again as the water still smelled. This time I was told
that it was the water heater and they chlorinated that. The water still had a
slight smell not as bad as the first time they were out but still not perfect.
Today I received a bill for the chlorination. If the problem was in the pipes
and water heater why did I need this $2000 piece of equipment that did not fix
the problem? I think there man just guesses and the customer just keeps paying.
I would not deal with or recommend this company to anyone. Unless you have
plenty of money to throw away.

Our experience with them was excellent. They were responsive when I called. They showed up within two days. They were here when they told me they would be. They came early in the day. He did exactly what we wanted him to do. The only charge was the service call. The technician showed us how we could deal with the situation next time without calling them.

Everything done ok. After a few days of use it was discovered there was a couple of leaky PVC pipes/connections that was causing pump to run a long time. 1 phone call was all it took for the tech to come to the house and properly diagnose the problems. He fixed everything. No extra charge to me. This is what I call service satisfaction, rarely found these days. Have pump issues? Call this company. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
