Michael was very methodical and knowledgeable. He provided detailed explanation and information regarding all aspects of the inspection. He treated me with respect and courtesy. I did not feel uncomfortable about asking any questions. He enjoyed his job and it came across when discussing issues. His report was extremely factual and detailed.

Excellent. Michael showed up early and took photos of the outside of the house. Michael is very thorough and knowledgeable and spent extra time with me showing me the critical systems, explaining what he was looking for, and explaining future maintenance. He is really not a clock watcher and not in a hurry to skip anything. His recommendation for the septic system inspection completely eliminated a major concern in that the septic system was more up to date than we had thought for an older house. I really like Michael's thoroughness and use of state of the art imagery equipment that can catch issues not observable with visual imagery. If you want someone who has far more than certifications (he's got tons of those, but loads of experience to boot), I'd definitely recommend Michael.

Mike did a very thorough inspection and provided extremely detailed inspection reports for myself and insurance company including wind mitigation reports and came back 3 months later to update the wind mitigation report after hurricane shutters installed.

Michael Newell performs all inspections himself. He is an exceptionally well prepared, experienced, and thoughful professional in his trade. Besides needing the required inspections for home owner insurance purposes, we also needed opinions of various issues that came up during a recent house remodel. If we had Michael Newell as our home inspector during the buying process of our current home, we would have known much more, and surely would have offered less for the house.
