Description of Work: My wife's wedding ring had to be cut off her finger several years ago, do to a volleyball sprain, while she was wearing it. The repair (in Michigan) lasted about 3 years. Since then, we've moved to Florida. Last year, it cracked in the same spot. We took it to a local chain jewelry store, who sent it away for repair, costing us $100+. Just a few months later, it cracked again in the same spot. We decide to find a local jewelry repair. We found Joesph's Jewelry on Angie's List and decided to take a chance. The folks there were super friendly. They recommended a repair that wouldn't fix the crack but install a new, beefier piece of gold. They promised that the repairs would be performed by their jeweler, in the store. Repairs were quick, ring is beautiful, we could be happier. My future jewelry purchases will be from Joseph's; no more chain jewelry stores for us!

Description of Work: repaired my diamond ring . The setting had come off and the post end had to be drilled out and the post and prongs replaced. They also cleaned my Ruby ring

Description of Work: Company has good quality but a little pricey. My wife had a problem that Joseph dealt with.

Description of Work: I took a piece of gold into this store for an estimate.

Description of Work: went in to sell some gold.....received an amount for some jewelery. Since I knew someone there I thought the price would be honest. Did not find out until a year later that fair price was not paid on the pieces. They have some pretty pieces there, and Linda was very professional in helping me. However,I was deeply disturbed in finding out about the way I was taken advantage of when selling my gold. Have not returned

Description of Work: We had two rings re-sized. The owner and the sales clerk were very helpful. Joseph was very honest and answered all our questions.

Description of Work: I took my old wedding ring in, and another old ring I didn't like. I had my own gems and wanted to create a ring, and have a new gem put in my wedding band. Joseph was able to sit down with me and design a ring for the 3 blue topaz gems and use some of my sapphires as well. He took apart the old ring, melted it down and re-created a ring for me. I also purchased an ankle bracelet for Christmas from his staff.
