From the minute I talked to owner Tim at Grateful AC & Heating, I knew we made the right decision to hire his company. The week before Thanksgiving we called to see if he could send someone to inspect our AC unit which was running very loud. Tim immediately dispatched one of his technicians who was super personable, knowledgeable and meticulous with his assessment that determined our condensing unit was on borrowed time. The same day and shortly after the service call, Tim contacted us to review pricing options for a new system. Since the unit we selected wouldn't be available for 5-6 weeks, Tim was able to find us an upgraded unit that was in stock at a significantly discounted price. Tim was then able to schedule the installation right before the holiday weekend, which not only went smoothly and flawlessly, but was staffed by an awesome team of technicians. Bottom line, Grateful AC & Heating is all about old school customer service and quality customer satisfaction

Tim was wonderful. He came by when he said he would. Provided me a very detailed estimate within a couple of days. I was able to discuss with him via phone and email some items that I wanted to negotiate until we came to an agreed upon contract. He estimated a precise time he thought it would take, described to me ahead of time what to expect and came by the day before the work was to start with the employee that would be performing the install to introduce him to me and make sure all parties understood what was expected and what was to take place. The workers showed up on time every day of the install. They were polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. There were a couple of bugs that came up that had to be worked out and each time Tim was extremely responsive and took care of the problem promptly and professionally and was there when he said he would be. I would definitely hire them again and they will be providing my maintenance as spelled out in the contract for the next three years.

Called Grateful A/C because I noticed the A/C was running at higher speed and running longer than usual and found out the evaporator coil was rusted and leaking coolant. Tim (owner) and employee showed up next day (but was asked when called if I needed him there immediately) no because it was cooling. They are very friendly, was told there was no service charge being I lived on Rocky Point, they diagnosed the problem (evaporator coil) within 20 minutes of examining both inside and out units. I have a 10 year warranty on the A/C so the part (6 years old) was covered. Part had to be ordered and it was over the Memorial holiday so it took a little longer to arrive but I had to call the back several days later because the coolant they replaced also leaked out due to the leak. They arrived the next morning happily and Rick (employee) charged the unit back up to normal operation. The part arrived, I was called the next day and bright and early Tim and his son Sam arrived and replaced the coil. I was amazed how fast this process was, maybe 1 1/2 hours, Tim also didn't like the way the low voltage wiring was done when the original installers routed it so he cleaned that up for me and yes, he did a much neater install of the wiring. I was up and running with no issues or delays. I was also impressed how clean and neatly they worked. They even removed their shoes when they came into the house (which I told them was not necessary) but they still didn't want to track anything in from the outside. They removed all old parts and cardboard and made sure I had no concerns or issues with the work performed. I payed for the work performed and they were on their way with no evidence of them being there except for a wonderfully working and cooling A/C. It is running like the first day it was installed, maybe better because the A/C will run only as good as the installation and charging originally was. These 3 gentlemen I encountered over this process were not only professional but also friendly and I fully believe to be completely trustworthy. I would be comfortable to have allowed them to perform work in my house without me being there. I highly recommend them.

I have used Tim for many years now. This particular time was at our new house. We had our wedding scheduled for June 22 and our air quit on June 16. I called Grateful Air and told them our story.. We were having many out of town guests flying in and staying with us during the wedding. Tim came out and determined the units were shot and beyond repair. Asking about his schedule he stated that he was running five weeks out!!!! However, because we were in such a jam he cleared his weekend to get a new unit installed. He called it our wedding gift. Well, one day later, new unit and a cool home. Tim has always gone above and beyond for all three of my homes. Always fixed the problem and says what he means and means what he says!!! You will not be disappointed with this company!!!

The unit was running but not as cold as I recall 2 years ago before our tenants moved in. No its running very well and although I wasn't expecting to spend that much initially, I was happy with the work performed. Showed up and did what was required. I had used them once before when capicitor stopped working on a 3 year old unit. Unit wouldnt start. They knew the problem over the phone and fixed it for me from outside when we couldnt be home. Was under 150 for the parts and repair so we decided to use them again when our rental needed a tune up. They only use quality parts, you pay slightly more for them but they last. I recomended them to my father and he had a good experience as well. They only work locally in Stuart and I guess that says a lot since they have enough business to stay local and in touch with their customer base.
