I paid him half of the estimate of $9,700.00 for a epoxy floor and custom cabinents He cashed my check and never showed. This guy is a thief. Move on Donà ¢à  à  t waste your money. He has changed the name of his business from Garage Gem to Coastal Flooring.

Floor installed 4/2019. This year it started peeling leaving several spots with exposed concrete. Called many times since February, left detailed voicemails, to no avail. Not a word from this company. Do not do business with them, they do not honor their warranty!

We signed a contract in Nov 2023 for them to redo our garage floor coating and install new storage cabinets & shelving. They charged me $3,500 (50% deposit), and were difficult to get a hold of initially to even confirm whether the cabinets had arrived, but we finally were told in mid-March that they did. We then agreed that they would deliver a storage pod on Apr 12 for us to clean out the garage so the flooring work could begin on April 15 but they have now completely disappeared (ie. stopped answering calls, emails and texts) and not delivered on any of the service that we contracted for them to do. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

BUYER BEWARE! These people have scammed $6k off of my parents and several other people. Stay away from them.

Ordered wrong cabinets / wall slats. Only discovered after they were half installed. Offered a discount to keep the cabinets (versus ordering new ones) and never followed through with it. Charged our credit card double -- and before the work was complete, which wasn't the agreement. After repeated calls had to report fraud with our credit card company to get it reversed. Billed us for 5 bike racks....only installed 4 and no refund. Then....after work completed, a wall slat collapsed (w/ only 20 lbs on it) and a beach chair dented our car. Agree to cover costs, but never followed through. Avoid this guy. Randy seems genuine, but a fraud or highly incompetent.

BEWARE! Pay attention to the "recent" reviews on Google! Randy is a really nice guy who seems to care about providing quality service and things actually started pretty well. But, once it came time to install our cabinets, it all went downhill. Delays with excuses. Wrong cabinets. Then more delays. But, we were patient and even planned other projects with him, because he sounds so genuine. 5 months have now passed - still no cabinets! At this pont we are owed money and he no longer responds to texts, calls or emails. We're just praying that Randy does the right thing.

This was a great experience from meeting Randy, who came to measure and give us an estimate to the customer service person, Veronica. The workman were congenial and professional. Iâ m very happy with the finished product and Garage Gem. Would highly recommend this business.

These two guys were absolutely wonderful!! They were courteous, and did a superb job! They were here right at 9:00 am yesterday morning and they did not leave until 5:30 pm.. I definitely give them the very best review I can!!

Garage floor came out absolutely amazing! Best part is that I only had to wait 24 hours vs some other methods for floor coatings. Floor has held up and has gotten a ton of compliments from neighbors. Would HIGHLY recommend the Garage Gem team! Thank you!!

They came on the days they said they would, they were on time and they were extremely courteous. The work site was left neat and clean each time they finished for the day and they finished on time. I gave the company 5 stars because they and their employees deserve them. Based on my experience with the company, I would not hesitate to recommend them. I love the floor.
