Job started the Monday after Thanksgiving with a goal of completion before Christmas. Due to error by vendor or its supplier, wrong bathtub was ordered (36and quot; instead of 32and quot; and unit required front skirt as it was not a and quot;drop inand quot; installation and skirt had not been ordered), error discovered the day the plumbing crew had been scheduled. Delay determining that replacement tub would take a month to obtain and that plan could be slightly revised to use the larger tub resulted in delay in getting plumbing crew to work. Vendor ate part of the cost associated with using the larger tub. As a result, hoped for Christmas completion had to be scrapped. Replacement fans for both rooms selected by vendor were extremely noisy and finally were replaced with and lt;.3 sone fans located by us (vendor ate any associated replacement cost). One medicine cabinet that was delivered to the house suffered a broken mirror which the vendor repaired at his cost.
The workman assigned to do much of the work was very disappointing. He appeared not to have planned ahead for the work of a day; often had to leave to get materials from supply stores; missed days due to family problems; had joined the vendor during the project. As a result, the job that was supposed to be done by Christmas was finally finished in mid-February."[member name removed] - I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with you on our second project in your home (the first being a balcony railing replacement). I am pleased that you rated us an A on quality - at the end of the day that is hopefully what will be remembered for. Yes, we did have some hiccups along the way with scheduling and vendors - as you enumerated - and for which we have expressed our sincerest apologies. Most times we get it 100% right, but this time regretfully we expereiced a few speed bumps. You both were very patient along the way, so 'thanks' again for your generous review. Glad to hear you are enjoying the new bathrooms - it was a pleasure for us to remodel them for you, and wish you years of enjoyment."
