Back in November 2014 we have purchased some pieces of
furniture, a Hotel style curtain and rolling shades for the entire house with
Baer?s in Stuart. The sales ladies were very nice, polite and knowledgeable.
However most of all the products sold didn?t meet our expectations. One of the
beds had a yellow spot and was chipped on the side. The service they sent to
repair said the spot could not be removed. The chip was glued and did not look
ok.
We have paid big bucks for a large customized hotel rod
curtain for the living room. The result was that the fabric does not come even close
to the wall, living a big space on both
sides which looks like a job not done right.
The customized Hunter Douglas rolling shades were a huge
disappointment. So far we are still waiting for them to try to make them right
(since November 2014). The first delivery came in December and the result was: missing valances, wrong sizes shades and
damaged material.
On the second tentative, one month later: wrong size
valances, wrong size shades, damaged shades.
The third tentative another month later (February 2015):
valances were correct but malfunctioning
shades, and wrong size shades again.
When I finally decided to call Baer?s manager, someone else
answered my call and I explained the
situation (in tears). The day went by however the store manager didn?t care to
call me back. I decided to go to the store to find that the manager was gone
for the day and would be off the next two days. We just took our business to
Baer?s because we didn?t want to have problems on the way. What a nightmare. This
is the most inconsiderate place to buy furniture or shades. I would rather go
any other store but Baer?s.
