Their compassion and their knowledge is remarkable. They work with local rescue groups and introduced me to Florida Yorkie Rescue with whom I now work. We are now up to FOUR dogs (foster failures...we couldn't give them up) and I have complete faith in Dr. Mary, Dr. Rich and Dr. Carrie. The staff treat you like family and we know our dogs' health &well being is placed above the business angle of a veterinary practice.
I wish I could find a family physician for my husband and I with the qualities these vets possess.
They believe in preventative care, and actually care about the dogs themselves.
Their office is clean, the practice is well run and the staff is welcoming.
All Creatures Animal Hospital works with the community here in Martin County as well as several rescue groups.
I would highly recommend them to any pet parent.
I took my mini labradoodle in for grooming at 9:00 am to KATHY, the groomer who is employed at this facility. My dog is groomed every four weeks.
She has thick hair, but she was not matted. She had a little matting under her chin which I told Kathy about.
When Kathy was introduced to my dog she said and quot;gee she sure has thick hair. I saidand quot; yes, but she has no matts except under her chinand quot;. She told me
the dog would be ready at 1:30. When I called at 1:30, I was told she was not ready. Finally, I got a call that my dog was ready at 3:30.
When I saw my dog after Mary had groomed her I was stunned. My dog had been completely shaved with the exception of
her ears. Now instead of looking like a teddy bear she looked like a mini greyhound. The receptionist said and quot;that will be $60.00
oh, and do you want to leave Kathy a tip?and quot; and quot; What kind of a tip should I leave I saidand quot; and quot; $10.00 to $15.00 would be about right said the
receptionist. When I got home I was furious. I called and asked to speak to Dr. Mary the owner of All Creature's Animal Hospital, but
she was busy. She called me back and in a message left on my phone since I was out, Dr. Mary said she was surprised since Kathy usually did not get
complaints. Quite frankly, Kathy was lazy and did not want to be bothered brushing out the dog. However she was happy to take
the tip. I always tip when I get my dog groomed, but this is the first time I was ever asked if I wanted to tip. In addition,
my dog's nails were not clipped.
So, I ended up spending $70.00 because KATHY was too lazy to do a proper brush out on my dog. And if a groomer is going
to shave a dog, she darn well better ask the owner. I would not recommend this groomer to anybody.
From first phone call till we left I was very happy. Made appointment to board my dogs there in the future.
