Able Closets

Design of bedroom closet system went well. I evaluated California Closets and Able Closet. Price and quality were very close. I close Able because they are local and I like to support local businesses. Installation went well. Recently the hamper broke free from the door. I was surprised to see four small 1/2 screws held hamper to door and would certainly break with a load of clothes. I called and left a message. No response. Four days later I called again. No response. So a week later I went to their sales office and met with the gentleman responsible for Design and Engineering. He committed that someone would be in touch to resolve this issue. Several weeks later no call or response. I have had to put a thru bolt on the cabinet so my clothes are not laying on the floor for over a month. I am really disappointed in their after sales service and would not use them gain for this reason.

This company is great. Dependable and the work and quality is great. Maureen and Matt are very engaged associate and handled themselves very professionally from the sale to there installation. On top of that they are just nice people. Thank your for a great job. I have already recommended you to someone else and they signed with you as well and are just as pleased.

Happy with the work done although scheduling was difficult and they only showed up with 1 workman when 2 were really needed. Overall happy with the job although I had to have them come back again to fix several things missed.

I was not really happy with Able Closets. They did a good job with the design. The installation was where everything fell apart. The first installation guy came when we weren't home. The first installation was very sloppily done. You could tell there was not a lot of pride taken in the work. There was initially different handles. My drawers didn't have all the same handles. They were not even. Some of them were a little skewed so I didn't like that. The face of some of the cabinets were a little marred. They left a mess. The owner worked with me. It wasn't very timely. Eventually it all got done good enough but it took forever. We got different install people here or we're waiting on different parts. The owner was responsive even though the execution might have taken longer than he said it would. He stuck it out until the end and finished it. I expected a bigger discount at the end because of what we had to deal with. He was reluctant and he wanted to give me a very small discount. Finally, we agreed on a price. I would never ever hire them again or recommend them. They need to improve on consistency of quality. I thought it was expensive but it was the going rate.

OK some delays

Our first time buying closet organizers and the rep (who no longer works there) was an interior decorator and came up with a lot of good ideas. The installers were great and came back several times for changes.  After you get your closet and want to make changes, they are willing to do that even after the job is completed. They were very nice and patient.

Work was done efficiently and on time.

Mark was our installer. He did a very good job and was wonderful to work with. He took his time and made sure the fit and function were good before he left. The color and finish of the new items is a very good match with the vanities too.

Able Closet is the BEST contractor closet work in the Port Saint Lucie area.  They are on time, price is great, excellent work and they build what you ask them to build and install.  Great professional work.  This is the second time we have used Able Closet and we are planning anothe project.  We do not shop around for prices or other contractors.  Able is the only company we will use.

The entire process went without a hitch.  We met with Jim in his office with floor plans and he made suggestions
and drew up a plan at the first meeting.  We then met with him at the home to measure and make some changes.
We were installed on the date promised and the crew that came out was neat, punctual, precise and pleasant.
They needed to come back with additional shelves (our decision to add) and again it went very smoothly.
I really enjoyed working with everyone at Able Closets and would use them again without hesitation.

We got our quote and within a couple of weeks we got an installation date and approximate time.

On that day half and hour prior to arrival we received a call saying he was on his way. The installer was very polite and careful not to mark the floor or walls with his supplies and tools. The floor was covered so no sawdust got on it. Within an hour the pull-outs were installed with no mess to clean up at all.

What a pleasure to do business with them! I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future!!

You need to look no further for a top-notch professional job for your needs to upgrade your closets. From beginning to end every aspect of this job was handled in a no nonsense but very friendly manner which made you feel like your best friend or relative was doing the work. Don't be fooled by others advertised specials. Able closets uses only the highest quality materials and adds hardware that really touch up the closet at no extra charge. Their design specialist will spend as much time as you need answering your questions and recommending solutions for your particular situation. They gave a realistic installation date and arrived just when they said they would. In my case Jim was able to accommodate a special request to do some extra minor work during a home remodel while his crew was on site. His installation staff were hard workers and completed the work quickly and with high quality craftsmanship. They knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend this company's services.

We contacted Jim for information and Rod came to our home, explained their business, showed us the product, explained the process, gave us some design ideas and, by email, worked up a computer image and an estimate. With some minor changes and adds by us, we came to an agreement on price and we picked the color of the product. Jim then came to our house for final measurements and to set-up a time for installation. Our installer was friendly and professional and had everything done in a matter of hours. When we asked for a new placement for 2 items and for several additional shelves for our shoe storage units we had everything we asked for in a couple of days. Jim and Rod are easy to do business with, providing a level of service that made us comfortable and ultimately very satisfied with the installation and the look and utility of the final product.

They did a beautiful job, their price is reasonable, I have recommended them to people and I am very satisified with their work.

The salesman for the estimate was on time. The time frame was met and the final products were perfection.

I used Angie's List to locate the business, let a message on the telephone for first contact, Jim called back within one day, set appointment to come to house, we discussed the project, he had samples of all material choices, ie wood finishes, colors etc, we sketched out what he thought would work, emailed it to me within 3 days with costs associated with each of the finishes etc. I contacted him by phone and we set up a two week delivery and installation date/time. The work was finished on time and completed on budget.

Abel Closets removed doors from my long, reach in guest room closets and installed drawers, shelving and hanging space, all covered by doors, and made it look absolutely custom. I could not be more pleased with their attention to what I was trying to achieve, their timeliness and the quality of workmanship. It's rare when a home project exceeds your expectations, and this one far exceeded mine.
