The front leg of a wooden dining room chair broke. I ask John from Aaron Repair to remove the metal insert from the leg , glue the two wood pieces together and place a longer metal insert into the leg between the two wooden pieces for additional strength. John said it was not necessary to do that. He said he would glue the pieces together. I showed him how the two pieces would not go flush together because the insert kept pushing the two apart. I told him how I wanted it repaired. A couple days later the leg was returned to me glued together. As I reinstalled the leg I heard a pop. The leg split apart in the same place it was glued together. There was not a  longer insert  used in the repair, it was just glued together. I called John and told him the leg split apart as it was being installed. He said that is impossible. He said if you over tighten the bolt it might split apart. I said I did not over tighten the leg. He said we can tell when we look at it if you over tightened. I said ok see you tomorrow. He said you tried to push the insert into the second piece didn't you.  I said I did not.  I was just putting the leg back on the chair. I said how can you accuse me of doing something and you have not even seen the pieces. John yelled , you over tightened it.  I said I'll see you tomorrow, we hungup.  Twenty minutes lated John called me back and started yelling I over tightened the leg. I said how can you say that  with out looking at the leg. I said I did not over tighten the leg . John yelling again said you had to have over tightened the leg for it to break. I said I am not going to argue over the phone with you, I'll see you tomorrow. The next day Aaron and John came to look at the leg.  Aaron said I have been doing this for 20 years and never had a leg break. You over tightened the bolt.  I said I did not. Aaron said yes you did.  I said I need the chair leg fixed will you remove the insert and reglue the leg and put a longer insert into the leg.  Aaron gave a long explaination as to why he did not want to do it my way. He said he would just glue it again for a fee. I said if you can not repair the leg the way I want it done I'll get someone else to do it the the right way. Aaron got mad and just walked out of my home and John followed behind and said have a good day.  They left with out even giving me a receipt for the work done.  They have my check for  $65.00  for a broken repair job. A customer should not be treated rudely, yelled at , and accused of something they did not do.  That is why I am filing a complaint.
