World of Blinds

WARNING!!!! ALL OF THESE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FOR THE PAST OWNERS. Company was just sold to Cindy who is a scammer!!! My fiancé and I spent nearly $10,000 in the past year on shutters and rollers. Steve and his wife assured they would be under warranty. They sold the company to Cindy who will not uphold my warranty. NOT the way to run a business with repeat customers.

Got help with colors and textures that really helped. Installment was less than an hour. It went very well.

We built a 2700 sf home, 3 bed/3 bath and needed window treatments throughout. Steve and Laurie (owners) were amazing! Prices were more than fair, the quality of work is impeccable, and they are very professional. They came to the home, patiently worked with us to help determine what treatments we would be happiest with, had loads of samples with them, and gave prices on the spot. Laurie and Steve both have excellent input, eyes for design and trends, and openly offer their help and opinions so that the best results will be realized. They are on top of current trends and will answer any questions truthfully without trying to talk you into/out of anything. They were also great at offering tips on how to achieve the look we wanted at the lowest expense. They take great pride in their service, and go over the top to make your designing experience as rewarding as possible. First we ordered the shutters, and Robert, their installer, did an absolutely PERFECT job of putting them all in. Not one scratch on the walls, not one dirty fingerprint, no sheetrock dust on the floors. He was even wonderfully sweet when one of our dogs peed on his new, huge quilted dropcloth!  A month later I made sketches of my design ideas for the great room and nook cornices, and they had their seamstress make them exactly as I intended. The quality was beyond our expectations!!!!  Although they have fabric samples from which to choose, we went to Boca Bargoons in Sarasota and bought our own fabric. They picked it up and returned with beautiful, perfectly made cornices, and of course, the installation by Steve and Robert was once again FLAWLESS! We did the whole house for under $8000! (Not counting the fabric we bought ourselves.) I wish I had more houses. This was waaaaaay too easy! They are the only company that I would ever use again.

Steve and Laurie were recommended to me by my next door neighbor. I called Steve and we scheduled a time for him to give me an estimate. One of the first things I liked about dealing with Steve and Laurie was that they always answer the phone. I don't think that I have ever had to leave a message for them. They came out to give me an estimate, and I was very impressed. They do everything themselves. They have a pride in their product that you just can't find anymore. Laurie gave me wonderful advice. Steve and Laurie put custom cornices on the top of all the blinds, and they look beautiful. Everyone that comes to visit me immediately comments on the shutters - they are absolutely gorgeous. There was a problem with my windows - they weren't even (a problem that occurred during construction of the house), which caused the shutters to be very, very slightly uneven. Steve took them completely apart and redid them until they were perfect. I work hard for my money and I am very particular about the work I have done in my home. Steve and Laurie exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN 'OFF-THE-SHELF' BLINDS! THESE ARE CUSTOM BLINDS AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE!!
