Island Tile Contracting

This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with a contractor from start to finish.  They came highly recommended by Atlantic Stone & Tile of St. Augustine.  The owner, Mr. Gibbs has put together a great team that worked so well together, this making a big difference in any job of this scale.  He had completed a previous job (much smaller scale, backsplash, marble on fireplace façade) but I knew this was a major undertaking.  He quoted a price and a time for completion. They showed each day on time, worked consistently throughout the day until 4:30, cleaned up each and every day of work, stored equipment out of the way and were the most pleasant of gentleman to have around.  They quoted 1 month or 22 working days and finished in 17.  I preferred no weekends to give us a break and he preferred no weekends to give them a break.  This worked out so well for all.  The floors are totally amazing!  The quality of work is unsurpassed.  So beautifully done!  They left our home totally spotless!  BUT THE FLOORS, OH MY GOODNESS!  Holland (Mr. Gibbs) will be doing all of our future work!

The work is beautiful!  They're all hard workers, reliable, professional, take care with the surrounding area, and clean up when they're finished.  We have them coming back in January to replace loose Travertine tiles on our stairway.



We bought the tile from Atlantic Tile in St. Augustine.  They gave us a list of installers, with no recommendations.  After we chose Holland, Lori at Atlantic Tile said, "You did good!"
