When first selling my house, I thought the selling agent was unimportant, just someone to get it posted on MLS. I decided to use an agent based on getting a "family rate" of 4% to save me money. I could not have been more wrong. His recommendation on improvements and his estimated selling price cost me tens of thousands of dollars and still failed to sell my house. When I cancelled my contract, I was even charged a cancellation fee. The second time around I researched realtors and made sure I found a reliable and knowledgeable realtor, which was Lance & MJ Lubin. Team Lance and MJ come highly recommended! Somehow, they managed to make the journey fun amidst many disappointments. We are extremely happy with the house we ended up purchasing after an extensive search. Both were always available and friendly while catering to our multiple questions and requests; if they didn't know the answer, they would find it out in a snap. Lance and MJ helped us sell my grandparent's house in Eagle Crest.  Nobody knows Eagle Crest and the surrounding neighborhoods better than these two.  They were friendly and professional and made an emotional experience pleasant and rewarding.  They are the best.

We were in South Carolina and had to wait for the property to clear probate court in Florida before the closing. They did everything, and more, to help get the deal done. We put our deposit down in March 2016 and finally closed on August 1, 2016. They kept in touch, they found exceptional contractors to bring the house up to code, they went beyond what I am used to since I have purchased about ten homes in my life. They made a stressful situation calm. They were terrific.

After we sent a showing request through Realtor.com, we were contacted by Lance and MJ.  It was a serendipitous meeting and we feel incredibly lucky to have met them.  This amazing team helped us find our new home and we couldn't be happier.  They were incredibly responsive, walked us through the whole process, and continued to check in with us during some of the "stressful hurry up and wait" periods. We had a great experience with Lance and MJ.  They were funny and friendly, but they were also honest and really open about the process.  They laid out all the options we had for selling our home.  In the end their advice could not have been any better--our home was sold 36 hours after listing it.  There was no hand-holding--they were simply honest and, well, adult, about the whole process.  I don't enjoy working with sycophants, so I really liked the Lubins' attitude and method.

Smooth as silk.

I've known Lance and MJ for too many years to count. I met Lance when I was looking for a house to rent back in the 80's. The internet was in its infancy at the time and it referred me to a real estate agent by mistake. Lance was good enough to help my daughter and I to get a rent, probably without compensation. Every house I have purchased in St Pete since, we have used Lance and MJ. They are professional and proficient and always have been. I can't provide all the instances of them going above and beyond the call of duty because it has occurred so many times and there is too little space here. They have in the interim become a couple of our best friends. They are individuals of the highest order. They are also professionals of the highest order. You would make a grave error not using them for your real estate transaction.

Always very professional and liked the electronic nature of document signing (since we both work full time). Purchase of home went fairly smoothly. Sale of house had several "hiccups" but these were predominantly due to the other realtor/buyers. The Lubins handled both transactions professionally and always kept us fully informed. We found them knowledgeable and appreciate their hard work in negotiating the sale of our house!

Lance and MJ started out by getting to know me,  and helping me get to know what I wanted after 26 years in my prior home.  I wanted to find an area where I could walk, rather than drive to get anywhere.    A place that would accept my 2 dogs.  A place that was friendly and neighborly.   Lance and MJ drove me stem to stern in Pinellas and gave me a big map to follow where we were headed.  ( Loved that, as I didn't know the area ).  Found several areas that looked to be "right" location,  however properties weren't exactly what I "dreamed" of.   Thougth I found one, and really pushed MJ and Lance,  we went several times to see, and they just didn't have a good feel for it....   Now I realize , i wouldn't have been happy there. 
One Sunday afternoon, when I was back in East Florida at a neighbor's birthday party, received a call from MJ and Lance.  They had found my "perfect place"  it had just come on the market..  They had gone by themselved to take a look , knew it would go fast, so Yuo-tubed a video of the it for me.  I watched video of it at the birthday party and made an offer , with out seeing it.
Lance and MJ somehow got the place for me, even though another bidder had offered cash.   Lance and MJ connected me with an equally great mortgage broker , and the whole purchase transaction could not have gone more seamlessly, due to all of their help.
I can state the Lubin team in these superlative terms  because it is a relative term.   I alse expereinced  "standard"  from a Major Realty firm , in this same time period,  when I sold my home of 26 years in Boca Raton Florida.  The Major realtor was supplied by my companies Relocation firm  ( of the same name ).   There is absolutely no comparison in the quality of the Lubin's work and their inactions with their clients, as compared to your :"BIG" realty companies.
My relocation company contacted me about my move shortly after I had met the Lubin team.  I did not want to change from them as was advised by the Relocation company, so the Lubin's did meet and agreed to work under the terms fo the Relocation company.  I am sure it cost them some dollars, but they made no big deal about it,  just wanted to know if I really wanted to stay with them. 
I am writing this 6 months after buyign my home... and I still cannot say enougjh  about how great they are to work with .  I just happen to be on Angies list looking for a handyman for the holidays, and saw the Lubin team .  Just had to write .down all fo the good things about both Lance and MJ.  Great People and good realtors also.

Let me just begin by saying Lubin team realty not only met but far exceeded our expectations in every possible way. What a blessing it was to have found them here on the list. Lance and MJ gave us very clear advice on what we needed to do to get our house ready to sell. They had a really strong knowledge of the local market, and helped us make adjustments in our price in a very difficult real estate market. We sold our home 7 months after we put in on the market. Their advice and their knowledge of the market helped us price our house to sell, but also allowed us to get the best price possible. We followed every piece of advice they gave us, and they have been realtors long enough to be able to read trends. They were very professional. They followed up with every other realtor who showed the house. They were very committed to getting the house sold, and we were very appreciative.
