Encore Air, LLC Heating & Air Conditioning

first off i caught the owner getting high in his truck out front of my house during the job, his workers kept leaaving because they said they were missing tools.i was charged 400 extra for a uv light that was supposed to come free with a new ac system. i also paid 300 to get my air ducts sanitized with they never did the were su[posed to come back and top off my freon because they did not have enough and to sanitize my air ducts with i paid extra for and they have not been back since or returned my messages. the owner is a drug addict look him up he is homeless and has no money so if u want to get ripped off call encore air

First day they showed up, It was a young guy, clearly not prepaied to do the job, He said he couldnt do it alone. I called the Office to confirm when they was coming back, The women I talked to said That the guy who came never done duck work, and that the Owner James McClow had boosted him and they would be back the next day,  They showed up the next day, Late , They tore out my duck work, and installed new duck work, I was told everything was sealed and wouldnt leak.  Needless to say after 2 weeks, it leaked, and again I have dust blowing into my home.  I have called the office almost daily for 3 weeks straight, needless to say this is week 4 and still no return call.  I have emailed the owner a copy of a Law Suite in hopes he would fix this, But No, No Answer I filed a compliant with the BBB, I quickly noticed they have been REVOKED. and a raiting F.  I am not alone.  I would warn everyone to stay far away from this company This is a Scam, I have reported it to the Finance company they use, that helped me, They was shocked to hear whats going on, I pray the finance company investagets and stop doing busines with them.,=  Do your self always  check with the BBB before hiring a company.  This claim this is a family company, Trust me this company is a Scam Company

The fan motor stopped moving while they were here. They replaced that and put in a UV bulb, and since they have serviced it, it has a terrible smell every time I turn the air on. I tried to call and email them to get in contact with them, but either they would not respond or they wouldn't fix the issue.
 
Since they wouldn't come out to fix the smell, I had to get another company to come service it and pay another service fee. They had to replace the fan motor again and when they went to go get the parts, they said that Encore never registered my parts so they would only be guaranteed for 5 years instead of 10 years which is what the original contract said it would be. 

They seem like they are never going to honor anything about my air conditioner and I am now stuck! 

It is now April 18, 2016 and I got the Consumer Protection of Pinellas involved in getting Encore to refund  me for the defective UV bulb as the owner said he would on Dec 17,2015.  I got a check for 133.00 today and it bounced as they have no funds to honor the check. 

They promised to call me to explain why I don't have a 10 year warranty but never did. 

They claim to be Christian with values but they are the most dishonest company I have come across since moving to Florida in 1986!
