Poorly. Similar experience to others: - Agreed to requests to get the job but then didn't do or tried to explain why he couldn't do these things when it was time to do the work. - Along the way, attempted to pour under requested/quoted thickness of slab. - After pouring a portion of slab - it was obviously crowned badly in spots while dipping severely within a few yards and the finish was not what was promised (was supposed to power trowel - he brought one onsite but did not know how to use it). I inquired about this and was rudely told that I could get someone else to finish the job. - After the fact, said I owed him $800 or he was going to lien my property. I would question any reply the owner posts in response to this review. I'm still dealing with problems stemming from this work.

Brian had already done a great job on the concrete work in our backyard walkway, boat parking pad, and boat shed foundation. So, when we needed more concrete work I already knew who to call. His work on our front patio gave the house the curb appeal it desperately needed. He suggested getting rid of our front porch stoop and incorporating that into the new work so that we ended up with a better appearance than we expected...And all that for a very reasonable price.

Service was quick, price was very reasonable. Family business that I would highly recommend. I saw a job that they did in my neighborhood and was very impressed. I asked my neighbor who did their work and that is how I found this great company.

Do Not Hire Always Reliable Concrete (or give him a deposit). We hired them to do a large driveway and parking pad. They got ¾ of the way through with pouring the concrete and literally quit when we raised concerns of large divots that were up to 20ft long 12 feet wide puddles near our garage. Brian the owner text my husband that he felt “like a failure and thought we should hire another company to fix his F-up, because he didn’t know how to fix it.” Well that is because concrete is unfixable and can only be torn out and re-poured. Their craftsmanship is horrible and they are just slobs leaving garbage everywhere. They try to cheat you out of material by only pouring ½ way up the 3 1/2“ form, code requires 4”. They said it would take 5 days and he quit on week 3. As you can see from the photos below, we now have waterfront property and have to pay another company to come in and remove all this brand new concrete, so wasteful. He is ill-equipped and not capable. He now refuses to give us back our $5,000.00 deposit and actual threatened to come vandalize the concrete to make it more difficult for the next company to remove. He has forced us to file suit against him and we are left with this huge mess, still no driveway and now $5000.00 poorer. I have attached photos for everybody to see his horrible work and unprofessional company. I am warning all to steer clear of this company and his 25 years of experience.

I Hired this guy on with specific instructions that I needed a 6in slab to hold a 35000 lbs pool. It was agreed and contracted. The guy came in and set up the mold and I was told he'd be back in a few days to pour. The mold looked very sloppy and shallow so I asked if he was going to clean it up and dig into the ground before he poured. He told me not to worry because he's a professional and it would be done right. He came over the next day while I was at work and did the job. The horrible work was hidden by the mold so I paid him trusting his word and he said it had to dry. Two days later he removes the mold and when I got home my mind was blown. This was disgusting work and with further inspection I find that he shorted me over 3inches of concrete. After multiple texts I tried to give the guy a chance to either fix it or refund me so I can hire someone who could. He tells me 3 inches is fine for what I need even though I've thoroughly researched this and I needed 6 to 8 inches to support my pool. So even after a written contract he felt it was ok to change the parameters of the job and try and hide it. I will be filing a law suit today. Please do not make the same three thousand dollar mistake I made.

The job went very well and we were pleased with the finished result!

Not a very good experience. I had a neighbor complain about the man working and accused them of keying his car and proceeded to get in an argument with both he and I. To top it off they didn't sweat the joints in the driveway, never put steal in the new steps and the steps even with the door opening. I would not recommend Brian and his team unless you want to pay twice...which I am.

Brian removed an old concrete drive off my alley access and replaced it with a 20 x 25 foot pad that will accommodate a car an a RV. He showed up to our first meeting on time and gave me a quote that was the finished price. He completed the job when and how he said it would be done. He left the area clean and I couldn' t be happier with the job he did. After three quotes, I am very glad that Brian did this job and would recommend him for any concrete work.

Brian was friendly and reliable. He got rained out several times so the job took longer than expected but not much he could do about mother nature. Patio and runners turned out great.

Brain came out to give me a quote and we settled on the price and scope of work. He was very good to work with and did a great job on both the walkway and patio area. Both look great!
Brian was very thorough, cleaned up, scored the concrete break lines and made sure everything was just the way he wanted it. 

We had our driveway pour by Always Reliable Concrete  and upon final inspection  and payment  we noticed 3 or 4 one inch by 2  inch dark gray spots on our newly poured concrete. We asked the owner Brian Jalbert  what the marks were and he told us it was just concrete curing and that it would be all cured in 28 days and that we would not see any marks.
   After 28 days not only were the original three or four marks there , we had 50 or 60 of these gray  dark gray marks , concrete acne all over our month old driveway. We called the owner of Always Reliable Concrete  Brian Jalbert  numerous  times and asked him to call us  back regarding the marks. He did not call us back  until I called one Sunday morning at 7Am. He asked if I knew what time it was and I said yes time for you to look at our driveway. He agreed to come  out and did so the next day. The next day he came out and said he never seen anything like it and would ask the company who  sold him the concrete about it. he took pictures  of what was not 85 marks all over our 7 week old driveway . Brian called us and told us they said we had leaked oil on it from our cars. My husband called the owner of the company who said no it was not oil and he did not say that to Brian. He said it was  not his issue it was Brian and we had no contract with him.
  We asked Brian to come back out and do something to our driveway , to which he replied I only made 1000,00 off your d*** lousy driveway if you expect me to pull it all up you are crazy. I will paint it for you . We told him we did not ever want a painted driveway that why we had poured concrete .  Brian Jalbert The owner of this company proceeded to send us   berating text messages calling us scum , trash and a assortment of other words and told us to sue him because he wasn't going to help us .  he hung up on us and said sue me .
   We paid  for a  home inspection 450.00 to do a inspection of our driveway and determine what was the now 150 marks on my driveway and why sometimes this 4 month old driveway turns  brown when it rains. it was determined that my driveway  has contaminated concrete  used in it. I called Brain the owner  back and asked him to help us , and to give us his insurance information so that we could make a claim  he hung up on  and then texted us to sue him . 
  I called my Discover card and disputed the charges due to the neglectful workmanship. After 2 months and investigations by them with each of us supplying our proof, discover ruled in our favor and returned our 3800.00 as a chargeback.
We would never use this contractor and would advise others not to .

Had an existing brick walkway removed and replaced with concrete. They were very punctual in coming out to look at the job and give me an estimate. Work was scheduled for 2 days, one day to remove and place the forms, second day to pour and finish. Day one's activities took only a few hours but day two came and went with nothing happening and no communication. Day number three came with the arrival of workmen and a concrete truck so maybe a name change to Usually/ Almost Always Reliable Concrete?
In all seriousness, the job turned out great and looks perfect.

We had them pour a concrete slab for a lanai almost 14 years ago and it still looks like new.  A few years after their first job we had him come back and pour a patio slab for us.  Again, an excellent job was done and we love it.  A few years after that we had him come back and install steps leading from the lanai down to our dock.  The steps were necessary for my elderly father to be able to walk from the house down to the dock.  The job was done to perfection!  My Dad has since passed, but he was able to enjoy our backyard for several years thanks in part to the work Brian and his company performed.   When we need work done in the future Always Reliable Concrete will be our first call.

Drive is excellent... Brian showed up for quote on time... Started job sooner than expected and finished before agreed date...
He was concerened about the impending rain but got the drive poured just in time... Had to cover it with plastic to protect it from the rain and it worked out fine... He took care of the permit with my city and made sure everything was to code...
He even came back out to help me hang a gate in my back yard...
Brian is professional, friendly, and a perfectionist (more than I needed) and I would call him AND recommend him to anyone for his work....

It went extremely well. From the day I first called to the day on completion was about five days. I called and he came out the next day to look at the steps and give me an estimate. I had told him I wouldn't be home, so he left his card with the dollar estimate. This was on a Saturday. I called him and we set up an appointment on Monday for him to come out, tell me what would be involved and to finalize the contract if I chose to have him do the work. On Monday we met and he said he could do the work on Tuesday.
He arrived Tuesday morning and the job was completed by about 2:30 in the afternoon. The steps look great. I have a second set of steps further back and I told him I wanted the porch steps to match the steps in the back. He did exactly what I asked. He worked quickly and neatly, cleaned up any mess he had made and replaced anything he had used or had to move to do the job. He was very personable and polite.

Everything went very well. This was the second time we used his services for concrete work. Would use him again. Good price and quality work.

The driveway is better than expected. The job was done perfectly. We had weather against us with three heavy days of rain and flooding and they came out on a weekend to finish the job. Well Done!

contractor was on time, had a problem with one of his workers but made up for it by contacting another worker. did all work timely and exactly as ordered, then cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend him to anyone.
