Our HOA has used Scott Ferrell for numerous projects in the past three years. He is professional and punctual. His work is top-notch and fairly priced. I have recommended him to several friends and family members who have the same high regard for his work.

Fantastic. Scott knows what he is doing, he is extremely competent and skilled, and I watched his work. I've done instrumentation design and fabrication as needed for my electrophysiology lab, and I appreciate someone with Scott's skill, understanding, and even his method of approaching the issues and the best techniques. The cost was less than I expected and the workmanship was far better than I expected or even hoped for. It was worth every cent and then some. I would go back to him in a second and without hesitation for any issue with existing electrical issues or new design and install.

Scott Ferrell was recommended to us by friends. They used him a few times; they raved about his work and said his prices were very fair. I called Mr. Ferrell and since I had so much electrical work to be done, he said he couldn't give a quote on the phone and that he'd be happy to come to my home and give me a free quote. We made the appointment for the quote the following week. Scott came to the appointment as scheduled and on time. As I explained each item I wanted done, he was thorough in checking access to the ceiling; or crawl space in the roof; or where he would tap electric from. It took a few days to get a quote from him, but I understood b/c he was in the midst of other jobs. The quote was itemized and also broken down for material and labor (by item). Very professional. Price seemed fair and we agreed he would start my job about a week or so after that. To complete the job, it required 2 days.Scott came exactly on time both days. What a pleasure!! He worked straight through both days, only stopping for a brief time to eat his lunch (in his truck), which he brought with him. He was very very nice and professional from the start to the end of the job! He listened very closely to what I wanted and asked only a few questions for clarification. When it came to installing the recessed light in the shower, I preferred the switch to be tapped onto the other light switch rather than the fan. Scott said he recalled I originally said the fan switch (I had no recollection) and that the quote was based on that. He said he would be able to do it but hopefully he wouldn't have to crawl back into the attic or it would take addt'l time (I'm assuming that would mean addt'l cost) but he would do his best to get it how I want it. He was able to tap into the light switch (which I wanted) at no extra time or money. Yay! On another item...regarding installation of the receptacle, I wanted it on the back wall rather than a half wall by a drawer. Scott originally thought it may be a problem ( stud behind the wall), but he was able to avoid the stud and put the receptacle just where I wanted it. Yay.... Another score!!! I told Scott how happy I was with 'everything' and it was obvious that mattered to him. He smiled too. He was terrific in all ways and I wanted others to know there is a great electrician in the St Augustine, Fl area. Not sure how far he travels, so if interested, you'd have to contact him.
