Have called worker Jim and owner, Steve and neither have responded.Came first time and gave estimate of $70.00 for odd orders. Never showed on second appointment, but called to apologize. Called him three times before he responded. Came on second appointment and completed less jobs than estimated, but charged $90.00. Because I had purchased incorrect light for exterior I had to return to store to get correct light and he said to call once appropriate light purchased and he would return

The electrician was professional, arrived on time and presented me with an accurate service charge as promised on the phone. He determined the problem was not electrical so no additional charges.  He recommended I call an appliance repair specialist to figure out what was wrong with the dishwasher.  I would definitely use them again

I was very pleased, Mike showed up on time and was very professional and courteous.  He had to go to the store to pick up a part but was back quickly and finished.  He cleaned up all the work area and everything looked and worked fine.

Having never used Angies List before I called for assistance and told the operator what we were looking for, he walked me thru on the computer and we found exactly what we needed - a local RELIABLE/AFFORDABLE electrician - We called for an estimate and the next day we had our written estimate in hand. We ordered the fixtures, etc that we needed from local suppliers and then called Stephen Simpson Electric and arranged a mutual date for installation and repair. Not only did they arrive on time (for estimate and work), but Steve's employee, Mike, was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous, as was Steve. We would recommend Stephen Simpson Electric to anyone needing any type of electrical work in the home.

It was great for me!! I hung around smoking cigars in the A/C while the electrician was roasting in my attic. He said you get use to the heat !! I now have ceiling fans in my bedrooms with lights and a switch on the wall.

When I called Simpson Electric, I was pleasantly surprised to learn I was talking to the owner. He seemed very concerned about my electrical problems and had a technician out the same day. The service was prompt, pricing fair, and workmanship very professional. I highly recommend this company.

They arrived in the morning and were done that afternoon. Everything was done correctly.

After arriving at our weekend home we discovered a pipe had burst in the kitchen area and caused some extensive damage to our home. We have a stilt home and the water went everywhere. Our neighbors who keep an eye on our home for us said that one of our outlets was actually sparking so they turned the power off at the main breaker. Air conditioning is a must in Florida during the summer so we called around to get our electricity back on safely and quickly and get our house repaired. We called Simpsons Electric because of high reccomendations from 3 other people that had used them in the past with excellent results. Mr. Simpson himself answered the phone and came out that afternoon. He quickley assessed the situation, made his reccomendations and gave us a quote. We had had problems with tripping the breaker and flickering lights which is one of the reasons we decided to upgrade at the same time as having repairs done. After discussing all this with him and him carefully explaining all our options we asked him to start. After our approval he pulled the permits and started work the next day. We really appreciated his quick response, his proffessionalism, his attention to detail and his patience in explaining everything to us. His contract was clear and easily understandable and there were no surprise charges at the end of the job. He made a really bad situation so much easier to go through. We would highly reccomend Simpsons Electric without hesitation to anyone looking for quality electrical work.

Simpson electricput flourecent lights in my garage. We agreed on a price and Steve stuck to the original price. They showed up on time and his workers were respectable people whom I felt comfortable with in my home!! They went right to work getting the job done not taking up my whole day!! They asked me where I wanted the lights and switches. They installed the lights and switches where I wanted them not where it would be easy for them!! They put in the extra effort sweeping the wire bits from the garage floor. Proffesional is all I can say to discribe Simpson Electric!! Now with the new lights I can see again!! I'm not as blind as I thought!!

I was referred to Simpson Electric by a family member who praised their recent repair at their home. I checked some of the reviews on Angie's List prior to calling them and was a little apprehensive after reading the few reviews from several years ago regarding the unprofessional attitude of an employee named Corey. But my aunt insisted they were great and reasonable so I gave Simpson a call. The person who answered was extremely nice and professional. I told him I was referred by my aunt (whom he remembered) but mentioned my concern over a Angie's List review of someone named Corey. Mr. Simpson advised me that Corey was no longer employed by Simpson Electric and assured me that he could have someone out to me as soon as possible. Within 10 minutes I had a call back from the lead elecrician Michael. He was very courteous on the phone. I gave him a run down of my problem and he was out that afternoon. He was very nice, troubleshooted the problem and after agreeing on a price, he got to work immediately. His performance was professional and he fixed the problem as promised. I will definitley recommend Simpson Electric to friends. I have not had any problems since the repair.

They always do a very good job, but they are not cheap.

Corey, the electrician called when he was going to be late and when he arrived he was polite and efficient. I am extremely pleased with the overall experience and will definitely call this company, as well as highly recommend them to my friends.

Very pleased with the professionalism. Also, the worker did not suggest other work he could do even though I discussed that with him. His advice was it would not be worth the money, a true rarity!

FRIENDLY AND CORDIAL PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. MY BACKGROUND IS ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, AND ALL THE WIRING WAS DONE NEAT AND ORDERLY; AS WELL AS THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW BREAKER BOX AND THE GENERATOR. THEY QUOTED A FAIR PRICE, AND WERE LOW BIDDER OUT OF 3 QUOTES.
