Springhill Painting

Robert Brooks came to my 85 year old mother's home and asked if they could paint her house. He told her he painted for her 14 years ago and needed the work. She said yes. My husband and I were away and they began using substandard paint They promised to do crack repair , replace some of the cedar wood which they never did. (referring to the wood) The first coat waas to be stucco concrete the second sealacone then sealacone waterproof. THIS WAS NOT DONE!!! Complete job was to be a whopping $4600 (My mother was not aware that the price was so inflated) Another $500 was to fill in cracks on her pool deck. Which they did with a material that is impossible to paint over and to remove! My mother paid them in full before we returned home. When we called they did always return our calls. They did offer to return and repaint .However they slopped one color onto another, Left cigarettebutts and rags and paint rollers all, over the yard It was a disaster!! WE did not want them to return. We asked for $400 to be returned to us which they did ( BIG DEAL) we released them from financial responsibility but.././.../.... Our main purpose is to let people know what happened to us and that they are NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!!!
