It went fine. They could not quite reach the top of the trees, but other than that they did very well. They cleaned up well. They charged $50 for each tree.

They did great work. They have a good 6 man crew and 3 trucks. They cleaned everything up and had everything taken care of in less than an hour. They were excellent, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I wanted to use Rite Guys from the get-go, as did my husband, based on their reputation alone. But I recently have had a huge problem with a local painting contractor basically refusing to come out and address some warranty issues, or even return my calls... but that's a story for another review. Anyway, it's made me pretty skittish regarding contractors, so I wanted to get at least two estimates and be a responsible homeowner.
The first company came out and gave me an estimate, and emphasized how difficult it would be to get the tree down, and how much equipment they would need, and blah, blah, blah. Apparently, I was supposed to be in awe of how dangerous their job was and just agree to pay any price they set forth. I KNOW it's a dangerous job. That's why I'm not over there with an axe trying to do it myself. I felt like I was being treated like the dumb housewife, who just doesn't understand how perilous this manly kind of work can be. Not appreciated. Their initial bid? $1200.00. Twelve. Hundred. Dollars. For ONE tree. I was thinking, and quot; There is NO WAY I am hiring these nimrods, and how do I get him to leave?and quot; And the longer he was there, the lower the price went. He stopped at $1080.00. So, since he'd apparently he'd already decided I was the dumb housewife, I told him I didn't handle any of our finances, and that I would have to speak with my husband. Not true, but he did leave.
And then Guy of Rite Guys came out. There was no lecture on how big their equipment was, or how dangerous the job was, or anything like that. He spoke to me like I was a human being with a brain in my head. He looked at the tree, told me it'd be $250.00 to cut it down and drop it into the woods on the property, which the other company hadn't even offered as an option. If I wanted him to take it away, it'd be $500.00, but since we're not going to really do anything with the lot for the time being, I didn't really care where the tree went, as long as it didn't wind up crashing onto my house. So we scheduled it for the following Wednesday.
To watch these guys work is, to say the least, awesome. I am terrified of heights, and I am a stay-at-home mom who doesn't get out much, so that may influence my opinion a bit, but it was really, really cool to watch. They knocked on the door to let me know they'd arrived, which was nice. The guy who went up the tree with a chainsaw to cut the branches off and cut the tree apart did so as casually as I would walk down the street. He was like, sixty feet up in the air, being held onto the tree by one of those belt things, chainsaw in hand, and completely nonchalant about it. They were in complete control of the job at all times--the branches fell where they wanted them to fall, and the larger portions were attached to lines and lowered to the ground safely, right into the hands of the guys on the ground. And I don't think the fence was hit at all, which was especially impressive given the tree's proximity to it and the angle at which it was growing. They worked quickly and efficiently, but not recklessly. It was like a well-rehearsed routine--everyone just knew where they had to be and what to do to make sure everything happened according to plan. Just amazing.
Eventually, we are going to have more trees removed from the lot and have it cleaned up a bit. Not enough to sacrifice the privacy it affords, but enough to make it a nice place for our children to play. And when we do, Rite Guys is the ONLY company I'm going to call.

They did a great job. They do an excellent job. They are very quick, very efficient, professional and they cleaned up after themselves and they didn't even leave a mess or anything within the yard. They pick everything up and they did a very good job.

Guy and his crew arrived on time as scheduled. His crew was highly skilled and everyone worked together as an efficient team . I was impressed with the crew leader who was constantly monitoring the safety on the job.
The tree was down in no time and they cleaned up the area of all debris. The entire crew was very polite and courteous. I want to add an additional compliment. When the wheels on the truck inadvertently caused damage to adjoining property as they drove away, I called Guy and he immediately sent the crew back and promptly took care of the situation. The crew leader went out of his was to make sure everything was corrected.

Rite Guys did an amazing job! Guy's estimate was certainly fair for the amount of work performed. His team was professional, arrived on time, confirmed all work on the estimate, and cleaned up leaving almost no trace they were there. Every member of his team was skilled and obviously had experience in tree service. The work was performed safely and in only a couple of hours removed multiple large oak limbs, cleaned several smaller trees, and removed three limbs hanging over the power lines. I certainly recommend Rite Guy's and will call them next time I need tree service.
