Cables were run in about an hour. The whole project was not completed because Robert did not observe the mounting before agreeing on working on it. Once he realized it would require some alteration, he informed that he would wash his hand and Robert and his assistant quickly retreated. Cleanup was not done properly. I was left with cables hanging off the ceiling and from the walls. They did not help move the couches back and the TV. I had to do all cleanup by myself.

"The job was for us to cable unreachable spots for your home theater in a box speakers. We never discussed mounting speakers in the quote and used drop clothes and vacuum afterwards. The spots were over white couches and also had less than 6inches of head space above the cabling location."

I found RB Wiring LLC on Angie's List on Friday and called from MA about our house in St Pete.
I spoke with the owner, Robert Bowers, on Friday and explained what needed to be done ASAP.
He gave me a rough quote and said that he could do the job on Sunday knowing I needed it done right away.
He called me this morning (Sunday) to say that he was on his way and that he'd call and send pictures when he was done.
Sure enough he called about 3:30 and emailed some pictures. He completed everything he said he would do and stuck to his original quote.
I was not only impressed with his professionalism, great price and sense of urgency but also that he trusted me even though we never met and I'm 1,500 miles away.
He wouldn't even take my credit card number until the work was completed and only after I reviewed the pictures.
I highly recommend RB Wiring LLC to anyone looking for anything related to TV or internet installation or repairs.
I will definitely call Robbie when we're ready to install our TV and sound system and our internet service.

He arrived on time and cleaned up everything nicely. He was easy to work with as I had other work ongoing in one of the units. Everything was done cleanly and professionally. My existing tenant was beyond thrilled to discover the higher quality cable lines he used significantly improved his picture quality as well as his internet speeds. I will use him again for sure.

MISTAKE No 1:
I agreed to purchase RB Wiring's recommended antenna even though I had already purchased one as he preferred his to the one purchased. The installation was completed with scraps of wood he found in my yard and was not done professionally! I can only assume the wiring in the attic was completed satisfactorily as I am unable to get up there and check it myself. He adjusted the antenna so that we received most channels but not all! The signal strength of many of the channels received were borderline. None of the signals were strong. The same evening some of the basic channels pixilated so badly they were not watchable. To make a long story short he has begrudgingly returned several times to adjust the antenna. However each time the watchability continued to degrade and he eventually said that he made no guarantee despite stating that he would be happy to come back as may be required On one later visit and with my prodding he elevated the antenna 4 feet which helped but not very much. The re-installation of the elevated antenna was askew and jerry-rigged with the cables hanging loosely and not secured. As it is said 'A picture is worth a thousand words' and I do have a picture.
I have since had a reputable contractor install a new antenna which is:
1) Less expensive 2) Not elevated 3) Not amplified - Receives over a dozen more watchable/not pixilated channels 4) No further further service or adjustments have been required!
I knew this was possible as I used to live less than a mile away where 5 years ago where I purchased an antenna which after one simple installation delivered quality TV reception and is still doing the same. Unfortunately, the company I used then no longer exists as the owner/operator has retired.

However, to make matters worse for himself, RB Wiring has after telling us he was on his way to pick-up the antenna on three different occasions, failed to arrive for any of his appointments or has he attempted to contact us. NOT REALLY A SURPRISE!

"Hello, We came out to install his antenna and at the customers request we used our Winegard powered Antenna. Which cost $90 plus tax. At the customers request he did not want the antenna mounted on the lowest fascia board. We mounted on the apex of the roof with a j mount $20, ran a new cable to a ground block, ground strap, and ground wire $10 and installed the power pack and inserter. Went into attic and ran new coax line to TIVO AND ran data line from office on a outside to ROKU in living room plus data patch cords for both ends $90. We were there over 4 hours and also tuned in their TIVO Device to antenna which they had over 48 channels $130. We came back out on two other occasions for free to adjust the antenna for the customer. The customer wanted 28.1abc and we informed them about 40.1abc was the same so they could get 8.1nbc without problems. The second time we came out the wife was having trouble understanding why they could not get 28.1. The customer demanded that it wasn't high enough still so we were told we had to put an extension on the j mount. We put a 3 ft extension and did not charge him for that either. We always try to make our customers happy and we went above and beyond. The customer since has still used our j mount and wiring but has removed the antenna and wants to bring in the antenna for a full refund now in February from the installation done in November. I fill this review was done as slander to hurt the company's reputation on Angies list."
