Professional Paver Restoration & Construction

PPR started as planned. Since we were getting our pavers sealed in a cooler month, we had to be prepared for them to show up on any given warm day, but living in Florida, we are alright with changing plans due to weather. This is the 3rd time I have had PPR seal our pavers. They show up when promised, offer a competitive price, use water-based products, and do a fantastic job. We are very happy with the finished product.

Everything done good but cleanup

Extremely professional, excellent communication.  Jason communicated status throughout the job.  
Guys showed up on scheduled date, took 2.5 days to complete.  On day 2, area on pool deck didn't look right to them, they re-stripped and resealed.  
Also, upon arrival, back patio didn't look faded, rather than stripping they recommended just sealing reducing cost by $200+
Very happy with results and will absolutely use again.  Highly recommend

The first day the concrete was removed with a bobcat front loader. Concrete hauled away via dumpster. Pavers delivered. Base delivered via dump truck. Then the base was spread out and leveled. Pavers laid down in an interlocking pattern. The second day the edging blocks were cement. Pavers were tamped down to set in place. Pressure washed clean loose debris pavers. Chemical wash applied to clean the pavers. Sealant is the last application that is guaranteed for 2 years. We are very pleased that it turned out so well. We received an estimate, picked out a color/style, and arranged for the work to be done the following week. As the job was on the small side, he called the next day to see if it could be done tomorrow as he rearranged the his work schedule. We were delighted. They arrived the next day and the job took a full day. It is beautiful and visually appealing. The job was so well done, we asked Eric for an estimate to have our driveway paved too. We have decided to go ahead with the driveway project as we can fit the cost into our budget. Eric said the detailed proposal for the driveway will be drawn up within the week. The project reflects excellence in craftsmanship.

Service was professional and the results were wonderful. The owner was courteous and took time to explain the process and maintenance. We were very pleased with the outcome.

I was given a quote included tint in the sealer and paid a 50% deposit in early September. We didn't want the work done until

after love bug season so job was postponed until November. After stripping and power washing was done I was informed that

the tinting was $150 extra. Since I was very clear when getting the estimate that I wanted the tint, naturally I was upset. In the

end they honored the original quote which I felt was the correct thing. Other than that they did a really terrific job.

Eric from Professional Pavers Restoration came to my home to give me an estimate on cleaning, repairing and sealing my pavers. He wasextremely professional and showed up on time. He showed me some issues with my bullnose pavers around my pool which I would never have noticed but certainly did need repaired. He emailed me an estimate in a very timely manner. When they started the work, they showed up on time and finished the work in only 3 days. They had to move a great deal of my outdoor furniture (which was a sectional, heavy coffee table, outdoor bar, 4 addirondack chairs, a large heavy table, a sofa, 2 chairs and some bar and table chairs) to the garage which was hard work and they never complained. When the work was done they came back on the 3rd day and moved it all back and made sure it was in the right spot. The pavers look great and we have been very pleased with their work.

A contract was drafted and signed and a deposit placed at time of signing. There were delays in material delivery, and a lack of scheduling with the work crew. They arrived the first time to do the job, but the materials had not yet been delivered. It took a few weeks to get the pavers delivered, and several more days after delivery to get a crew here to start the work. My concern is; if there is a problem with the product or the installation, there is NO service after the sale. There are material defects that began to show after a few months, and some installation issues also. Some of the pavers developed voids (holes) in them and many had surface deterioration that exposed an excessive amount of aggregate. The beautiful colored surface had disappeared. Some of the pavers are loose and cracked. I have been attempting to contact them to correct the problem for well over 15 months. At first they would at least answer their phone and assure me they would get someone over here to look at it. But as time went on and multitudes of phone calls later, it was obvious they were blowing me off. If they answered, they always had an excuse why nobody had yet arrived. Soon, all calls were to their answering machine where I left numerous messages for their owners to contact me. I NEVER received a response. Continuous calls made by me was a waste of time. In July of 2008, one of their field representatives showed up at my residence unannounced, requesting to take a look at the deck. He took numerous pictures, made a few phone calls and assured me that that "this will be taken care of". After being fed more excuses during subsequent phone calls to him, all contact ceased. E-Mails to the company were not responded to. A formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau resulted in their inability to establish contact with the contractor. This company has an "F" rating with the BBB. Do NOT consider using this company for any reason if you expect them to honor their written WARRANTY! Do NOT sign a contract with them!!! The type of overlay paving they do is NOT regulated by the state of Florida, meaning, UNLESS CITY OR COUNTY REGULATIONS REQUIRE IT, the contractor may be, UNQUALIFIED, UNLICENSED, and UNINSURED. If an injury occurs on your property to one of the employees and they are uninsured, guess who is liable? YOU ARE! I paid a premium price to a company for a job that could have been done for far less. So BUYER BEWARE and shop around. In reality, their WRITTEN WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS. Without state, county or city regulations, you as the consumer have little recourse through any regulatory commission, AND THEY KNOW IT! DO NOT HAVE WORK DONE BY THESE PEOPLE!
