Our water heater started leaking a LOT overnight. We have a gas water heater and a family member mentioned that TECO has a program to get your water heater replaced on a payment plan. Therefore, we had to use Meares because that is who TECO sent out. However, everyone I spoke to at Meares was very pleasant, helpful and professional. We ended up getting a tankless heater after talking with the technician. He explained all the options, and didn't seem to be pressuring me to pick one kind of heater over another. He was able to get the unit installed, including removing the old unit, and moving some of the water lines around in about half a day. Everything looks very neatly done and very secure on the wall. I am happy with the work that was done.

After the sink and toilet were removed I was informed the job was $600.00. So I was being overcharged. When I called the company and addressed my concerns, he was going to ask someone about my issue but he never called me back nor discussed a possible resolution. I terminated their services and hired my own plumber who would have done the entire job for $350.00. Its a shame the entire tile job went so perfect with the exception for this plumbing company and being ripped off.

Was very impressed with the company overall from start to finish. The call taker heather was very polite and professional. They arrived on time and with a courtesy call prior to arrival. Very well dressed and groomed. Very polite and explained the process as he (Matthew) worked. Kept me informed of everything the whole time. Great workmanship and no complaints at all. Highly recommended to everyone.

plumber was a little later than anticipated but gave me a quote and options on disposal and warranty. Performed work quickly and pretty well cleaned up after work was completed.

They said we needed to purchase a new toilet. We asked about the spare bath toilet that was working fine and were told it was a matter of time. We purchased two new toilets installed. Our kitchen faucet has an occasional leak and were told that it needed to be replaced too. We did not replace and it is still working fine. I would recommend if you are looking to replace plumbing fixtures.

Everything went absolutely fine. The man that showed up was professional and courteous. The reason I wouldn't hire them again is because the first product he introduced to me was the most expensive. I would have been more responsive to him and would have probably used them again had he started by asking me relevant questions, offering me options and then I would have made my decision.

Great!!! "Singing" toilet is now silent, leaks fixed. All explained to me (old lady/no plumbing knowledge) and we are using them again to install a new water softener. No pressure, just facts so we could make an educated decision. I recommend them highly.

I looked on Angie's List, Google, Amazon Home Services and Yelp to find a plumber - reading reviews in the hope of finding an honest, reputable and quality plumbing company. It seems like even the A-rated companies have a number of reviews that question the price or the quality of the service(s) performed. Meares Plumbing had all positive reviews and they serviced my area. I was able to get a technician the same day I called plus as an Angie's list customer, they waived the service call fee. Adolfo called to let me know he was 30 minutes out and he arrived precisely on time. He took care to cover his shoes when he came into my home which I always appreciate! He was able to find the problem right away and gave me several options for repair. The leak was coming from the faucet which I knew needed a washer for about a month or so - I just had no idea the dribbling water that came from the faucet was leaking down under the sink! He first tried to fit the faucet with a washer but the size needed was not standard. The faucet was actually part of a set that came with the sink that was installed about 3 years ago. A friend had already tried to fix the washer problem so I knew there was some issue with the quality of the faucet ( I could see it!) Adolfo also pointed out to me that all my stoppers were compromised - as when he tried to turn off the water, they leaked! My water is very hard and takes a toll on everything. We agreed that he would replace the faucet and with that came new stoppers, lines and a warranty for labor. The price was outstanding and I was able to run to the local Lowe's to pick out a faucet that I thought would compliment the existing sink. I offer the highest praise for Adolfo's professionalism - he was knowledgeable, honest, personable and just a pleasure to do business with. After performing the work, he cleaned up the area thoroughly. The new faucet works beautifully and looks so much better than the old one! I feel like I have found a plumber who I can expect to fix my plumbing issues and be honest about what I need (and don't need!!) I couldn't be more thrilled. :) Thank you, Meares Plumbing for providing such a qualified and topnotch technician!

Johnny came out and did the quote. He was helpful and informative. It was a somewhat complicated situation because it was tenant/landlord and the landlord was not expecting such issues (costs). Johnny explained the situation to the landlord and kept us all in the loop. When he came to install he was friendly and respectful. He was quick and clean. We recently had a minor leak from the newly installed line (manufacturing defect) and they dispatched Johnny right away. He fixed the problem and replaced all the necessary parts. As always, he was friendly and on time! Great experience!

Took tech almost an hour to figure out how to get the faucet apart. A basic, cartridge type faucet that is only about 15-18 years old. Felt that the price quoted was pretty high but as long as he was there and the faucet was apart, may as well go ahead. Then he had to go for parts. Replaced cartridge and o-rings. Also replaced a stop valve and extended a feed line. Had to call them back after a day as there was a leak. I'm not sure If I would use them again. If I did, I would try to get an estimate before the work was started. Glad that they warranty their work.

They replaced all the inside parts in the tank. There were 2 guys that came out. They were excellent. We also brought a product from them that should help keep the drains clean (Bio-Smart). They showed up right on time, and called before they came. They gave us an estimate ahead of time, and the end cost matched the beginning estimate. The plumbing was $190, and the bottle of Bio-Smart was $59.

Ed was fantastic! He was very patient, knowledgeable and engaging. He covered his shoes before entering my home with covered booties. He performed his task in a timely manner and was conscience of cleaning during and after his installation. He made everything look new again! We were very satisfied with his performance.
