We performed a roof repair to the rear elevation of your home in multiple areas.. we removed several feet of solar panels, fixed a leak at the fireplace and changed out two skylight covers. This work was performed over 6 months ago and you just paid your invoice last week I had to give you a $300 discount to accomplish that... I told you when we were performing the work your roof needed replaced so its no surprise to me that there is a leak on the front of your home. I will gladly come back and service. I had a building contactor who is a home inspector come out a couple of days later to check out the situation. He did see the loose shingles but indicated that the area where the leak was occurring should have been repaired correctly. The sealant that was used around the pipes was white. The contractor indicated that it should have been sealed with tar. The young man who came out was very nice AND I certainly do have an issue with my shingles raising up but I felt he did not really do the job correctly by using tar to seal around the vents. He sealed several areas of the shingles down with the white sealant but according to the inspector he should have used tar AND fixed and sealed the nail head where the leak was over the MB.

Sorry but for $199 I would have at least expected a roofer to have sealed my vents with tar.
Responsiveness: I would have rated an A but instead a B. Someone from the office called me the next business day...on Monday 8/24. I was impressed. She said that someone would call me back in a couple of days to schedule. (I mentioned that if it could get done by Thursday afternoon that would be great because we were headed out of town that Friday for a week.) I never received a call that first week and still did not receive a call for at least a week following our return from vacation. I had to call in again to get something set up.
