+ -1 moreIt went lousy. The guy worked out of his garage. He did nothing and messed up my clock even more. I had to pay $135 to retrieve the clock. I had to wait at his house to get my clock and waited forever to get it. They were Hispanic so they had trouble understanding me when I went to get my clock.

Description of Work: One of my clocks is at least 100 years old that has not been functional for the last 15-20 years. I left it to be overhauled at one place for over a year, finally picking it up in the same condition I left it. I took a chance after discovering Jim's Clocks on the Internet. My antique clock was overhauled inside and outside and was ready in 10 days. My second clock, a cuckoo, now looks brand new. It was also ready in 10 days. Robert, the technician, did an excellent job!. He has also come to my home to oil a mantel grandfather clock. He did not mind letting me watch him and showed me where to apply the oil. I learned clocks need to be oiled every two years. Robert is refurbishing a floor grandfather clock that I plan to purchase if it comes out like I want. I will be happy to let you know the results in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend Jim's Clocks! I have nothing to compare if the repair price is within acceptable range.
