Steve did an outstanding job installing <100' of crown molding in our kitchen, pantry and laundry room. He came out within 2 days of my call....very quick response! He is obviously a professional who takes pride in the quality of his work. He exceeded my expectations with his attention to detail and craftsmanship. He dealt with a few non-standard situations in how our cabinetry was initially installed and did a fantastic job of installing the crown to cover up a few crummy situations that my contractor had left me with. He had a few recommendations to do the job so that the finished product would look better than what we originally had intended. I could not have asked for a better end product. I highly recommend Steve to anyone looking to do cabinetry or crown molding of any sort. He is a true master carpenter.

Steve Pepi, owner of the company does all his own work.  The mantel he made for me turned out beautifully!  Steve is meticulous about his work and is just as meticulous about keeping your premises CLEAN while, and after, the job is being done--something I've found NOT to always be true, unfortunately, with other tradesmen.
It seems that many of us need quality 'smaller' jobs and home alterations done these days.  I 'looked ' for almost 2 years, by asking other construction people if they could recommend a good carpenter; none would, most saying, "Yes, I know a carpenter, but none I'd recommend."  I appreciated their honesty, but that still left me needing work done and no one to do it.  I finally signed up with Angie's List, immediately found Steve, due to his great reviews, and they were absolutely right--he is a winner! I have already passed his name and cards on to friends who also wanted work done, but wanted to 'wait and see' what I said.  I said, "Call him!"

Steve did a great job installing and Steve was able to do the install within the 2 weeks we wanted it done. It was agreed I would paint the trim prior to the install and Steve did a great job getting the trim here in plenty of time for me to paint.

Everything went extremely well. All work was completed per the agreed time which allowed the painters to get their work done in a timely manner. I had chosen moulings for the archways from an 18th century house that I showed to the provider. I also showed him a design for the sewing table top. He was able to reproduce them beautifully and accurately. All work done was beautiful and I'm extremely satisfied with the results. The provider did not feel that he could make the joints for the mirror frames tight enough so he recommendef a second tradesman (picture framer). He also suggested that real wood was better than a faux wood product in a bathroom where they might get wet. I'm glad I wen with this suggestion as the frames have gotten wet (without damage) at times. The provider took all the measurements and picked up the frames in his trailer as they would not fit in my vehicle. He installed the frames over my old, existing mirrors and they looked fantastic.

Very well! Completed in one eight hour day with a minimum of disruption and mess. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Steve Pepi was very informative, professional, engaging and helpful. He assisted us in planning the molding designs we want installed and enhanced the look with his suggestions.

The job went like clock work from start to finish. Steve said the job would be finished in 4 or 5 days - he finished in 4.
He had the materials delivered to our house on Friday - the job was scheduled to start on Monday - so we had time to paint ALL the materials - so much easier - than to paint it after it is installed.

Steven showed up on Monday morning and got started and just went on about the installation. He was steady, quiet and cleaned up as he went about the project.

All of this was great, he is trully a very talented craftsman.
