"Please don't spread inaccurate information. You were changed $95.00 for a house call which resolved your issues at the time. You called me back a month later with different issues. I reset your computer back to the original settings for $125.00 for a total paid $220.00, not the $345.00 plus you claim. You were never charged the $30.00 or the $345.00 that you mention in your review. That is just not true. It was clear from my visits to your home that you will never be satisfied with any work done on your computer. You stated you weren't satisfied with the company you purchased it from, they overcharged you, that their on site service was poor, just as you are now claiming mine is. After spending hours with you, I am not going to teach you how to print an email or delete an email using Windows 10 at no charge. The most accurate statement in your review is that "I don't know if i am coming or going." You are just one of those people who will never be satisfied. I'm sorry you believe you had a poor experience however, it was clear you were never going to be satisfied with anything that I or anyone else will do for you."
As I have quite a few and quot;Favoritesand quot; as well as names in my email list, it took him awhile to complete the copying of all the data to my new lap top. I was quite pleased with the outcome. Also, my home screen, now using the old style windows 7 screen and its icons rather than the boxes on windows 8 is far easier to use and more enjoyable. Mind you, I still have all of the updated info that comes with the new windows 8, other than the screen with the boxes.
When I contacted him to actually set up the time, he was willing to come to Mom's house, a considerable distance from his shop, on a SATURDAY, the one day that I was going to be visiting Mom!!!
Roger was there much longer than he had thought, trying over and over to install a very old scanner that my Mom had never used anyway. We finally decided that it wasn't worth following up on that any more. The software was too old. Roger was willing to explain everything he was doing, and was willing to do whatever we asked. I was so impressed with his patience in teaching my Mom what to do and how to do it on her new equipment. Now Mom is not very technologically inclined...She doesn't need to be at 86 yrs. old. But she came away from this experience with the knowledge to surf the net and send and receive emails from family and friends on her new computer.
I'm so glad that Roger also set up her computer so that he could access it any time remotely. Mom needed to call him a few days later to have him help with her email program....He did that quickly and competently from his office.
Roger could have charged us much more money for all the time he spent with us! But he stuck very closely to his quoted price--which was a very good deal for us.
I highly recommend ComputerRX. Roger is very knowledgeable, patient, businesslike and willing to help. We couldn't be more pleased!!!!
