Kool Decking is available in the Tampa Bay Area.  After 28 years of use, our original Kool Deck needed rejuvenation.  After contacting several decking and pool renovation companies, it appeared that the only options were for acrylic (plastic) coverings or pavers (high cost).  After some research using the internet, I found a company that owns the rights and manufactures a ?Kool Deck? product.  The company is MORTEX manufacturing, located in Tucson, AZ.  I contacted them for a name and location of a local (Tampa Bay area) company.  They referred me to  ?CLASSIC KOOL DECKS, Inc.? in Spring Hill (352-688-2264).  I contacted Victor Ammons and he promptly came the next day to give me an estimate, which was quite competitive with other estimates.  After agreeing to the work, Victor showed up the next work day with a crew of 5 people and the deck was redone in 2 days to the color specified.  I am very happy with the results. 

Refurbishing a pool deck is a function of the condition of the underlying concrete deck.  If the concrete has cracks, the cracks WILL come back in time.  Only pavers will hide the cracks.  If you can live with that ground rule, I definitely recommend Classic Kool Decks, Inc.
