It went great arrived when he said he would. One of the light fixtures had a broken wire and could not be installed when Derrick originally came out. As soon as I received the new fixture he came out the very next day at no additional charge. He was very knowledgeable, and efficient... would hire them again.

I have dealt with a lot of contractors, and this one is the most professional, I've had the pleasure to deal with. From making the appointment with Mr. Connor, to Derek, who fixed the problem, it could not have been better! I will hire them again, and would highly recommend to anyone. Price was more than fair.

came and gave estimate. my wife and i decided to let him do the work, wile working on one of the connections there was a wire that they did not know what is was for and asked if he could cut it and deal with it later. I agreed to having it cut. on another connection they screwed up a light fixture and told me i would have to buy a new one. they came back the next day to reconnect the door bell wire that they had cut and to reconnect the light fixture that i had to buy. when they were done they gave me a bill for over $400 more than the high end of their estimate. they claimed that there were more outlets than they thought, also charged me to reconnect the door bell wire that he cut and charged extra to reconnect the light fixture which he broke in the first place. when i confronted him about the added charges his answer was to deduct $25. off the bill I would never use his services again.Period . in his response he stated that the fixture looked to be the original one in fact it was only two years old and worked fine until he put his paws on it his response to the doorbell was he told me he did not know what the wire was that he cut .said we would find out later. after figuring out it was the doorbell wire he cut he said it would be 175.00 to rewire it. and no he never, never offered to install a wireless doorbell at no charge. Big LIAR!!!!

"We originally contracted with [member name removed] to repair the aluminum connections in his home and replace the 40 year old receptacles and switches that were worn out. At the original estimate we explained very carefully and in detail, as we do with each job of this type, that we charge by the outlet. This is because we do not know the number of outlets that will require remediation until we begin the job. We have found this to be the most fair way to estimate the jobs and provide cost effective service for our customers. As can be expected, any additional work that a customer requests after the estimate will increase the final price. While beginning our repairs for [member name removed] we discovered burned connections and defective wiring leading to the attic. From experience, we knew this was the door bell transformer wiring that was not in code compliance, and we could not tie it in to our new connections. This was a concealed defect that we could not have known about and certainly did not cause. We gave [member name removed] the option of repairing it, which would require a technician to go into the attic to replace the burned, exposed wiring and add a junction box, or installing a wireless door bell. We advised him before any repairs were undertaken that we would bill him for the new work of repairing the wiring, or we would install the wireless doorbell at no charge. [member name removed] chose to repair the door bell wiring. In respect to the light fixture that had to be replaced, we discovered that it had a burned socket that caused the light fixture to blink. This fixture looked to be original to the structure (built in 1970), and we advised [member name removed] that it needed to be replaced. We did not cause any damage to the light fixture, but offered to install a new fixture for him without any additional charge, which he accepted. Additionally, before the job was completed, [member name removed] requested that we install a surge suppressor. This was not discussed at the original estimate and was not part of the job until [member name removed] made the request to us. Just as we did with other additional work, we provided [member name removed] with the cost of the surge suppressor and installation before we began. The additional work requested and approved by [member name removed] after our original estimate was the reason his final bill was higher than our original estimate. When [member name removed] called to complain about his bill we carefully examined his invoice. For the original work contemplated in the estimate without the additional work, we were within fifty dollars of our originally estimated price. We instructed him to deduct the $50.00 difference from his payment in an effort to appease him, however we could not remove the charges for the additional work [member name removed]requested and approved."

We called on Monday and explained what we needed. An appointment was made for Thursday 1/30/14. Showed up on time and did what was requested. He explained what he was going to do and within the hour he was finished. Professional, courteous and informative.
Connor Electric was the fourth company called, each company was left a message explaining what was needed, Connor was the only one to return my call. Although it was just a small job, he returned my call and had no problem coming out to do the job. Will definitely call again.

The first time we talked with Tony he tried to talk us through the "unfreezing" of the old main circuit breaker. When that wasn't successful, he strongly suggested that the work that had to be done was not something an amateur could do. When he and his assistant arrived, they were extremely careful as they dismantled the old main circuit breaker and replaced it with a new one.
