I wish I would have chosen someone else, please take a moment and read my story. The paver driveway, $4578.00, went fairly well. Only issue was the pavers shifted as soon as we started driving on them. Ben had his guys fix it fairly quickly. The pool patio was a completely different story. Full disclosure, this was a sinkhole repair and Ben was informed of that. When we met with Ben we explained that the swimming pool area is our favorite room in our home. We explained to him that it has emotional meaning to us as well, since my wife paid for it ($40,000) with her inheritance when her parents passed away. We designed and built a fully custom lagoon pool with a raised hot tub, waterfall and thousands of dollars of natural stone. I mentioned to Ben that I was afraid of the stain getting on the rock. With all these concerns he put our minds at ease, he said he would take care of it and we had nothing to worry about. The problems started right away. First, he absolutely promised that we would "never" see the circular drill holes in the deck, from the sink hole repair, again. He explained that the cracks may return but the drill holes would never be seen again. That ended up being not true. They were never actually hidden. He tried several times to fix this but never got them to the point he said he would. Secondly, the gentleman that applied the stain with a roller and brush splattered it all over the natural stone. When we pointed it out to Ben he said he would take care of it. Third, there was an area that the coating bubbled and cracked. This happened within a couple months. At this point Ben had stopped answering my calls. I was calling him every day for weeks and he just completely ignored me. Looking for answers and advice I called another local patio restorer and he agreed to come over and look at my patio. He explained to me that the job was actually done well, my concerns were, at the time, easily remedied. If only Ben would return my calls, I have never encountered a "business man" like this before. So, frustrated I contacted the BBB. He told the BBB that he would do everything he could to help me. He never called. Then he told the BBB that my job, since it was a sinkhole repair, had no warranty. The BBB agreed with me that a warranty shouldn't matter with the stain on my stone but there was nothing they could do if I didn't have something in writing. Again, Ben told the BBB that he would help me. At this point Ben called me and told me that he was NOT going to come back to my home. He didn't care if he got a bad score on the BBB, "it will drop off in a few years". SO, it's now July 2017 and I'm on Angie's List looking for a paver contractor to cover my degrading acrylic pool deck. It looks AWFUL. The stain is actually coming off. The yellow texture coating is showing through. It started rather quickly, within two and a half years. While I was going through the list of contractors on Angie's List I saw American Concrete Design and HAD to write this review to do what I can to make sure Ben doesn't take advantage of another family. Thank you for reading my story. PLEASE choose someone else and I wish you the best.

Process took longer than anticipated due to rain and sealant and sand needing to be done in dry conditions. Ben at american concrete kept in constant communication with me. Very satisfied thus far.

Great to work with this company. Ben, the owner stay involved and the two guys that worked with him were very dependable. They listened to what we wanted and were willing to change things if needed. It looks like new house. They began the work first part of Dec. and have now completed work.
