Great!!. This is the same company that put in my original pavers in my driveway and walk way back in 2007! They did such a beautiful job back then, I had to have them come back to extend the pavers. Hugo and his crew did such a great job. I was worried that they would not be able to match my old pavers, but Hugo found pavers that matched perfectly. Very attentive and precise and very professional. I highly recommend them!!

Horrible. This is an update to my review on 06/25/2020. The owner saw the review and contacted me to complete the work. It is now 07/20/2020 and he still has not responded back to my text to come and finish! WOW - he truly does not care at all about his reputation. See screenshot of text messages attached

Not once! Since March the world has been dealing w/cov19virus pandemic.weeks of"stay at home orders" Did u call then? email then?No. claim to know the "real" hugo and blatantly write lies, call him names "lazy"? Immigrate at 14, learn a new language, Earn a Full College Scholarship,Start a Biz 36 years ago labor intensive work, harsh, in tropical hot weather. WOW, what a lazy man! 1. project proposal was for 5 low voltage lights installed=u received 6 excellent high grade landscape lights installed. 2.u changed your mind wanting what neighbor had(solar) 3.went back and put the solar ones for FREE..u don't like these 4.u still have all lights. 5.landscape done 6.pressure clean added sand,sealed pavers not even clear what needs to be "finished" from months ago. u would not have asked for 2nd project to be done if he had not established himself, as professional, kind and given a beautiful creative work experience for u. not sure what else is going on in these crazy times, last few months to make you chose to write such slanderous ugly lies and call names everywhere u can and then Expect something good to come out of it thinking that "a customer is always right" even when they are being malicious. by posting so quickly on a Saturday, again today continuing your bulling u seem to enjoy this, tells more about u than hugo u seem to have made up your mind;cannot do anything for u to 'finish" and make u happy. Respectful Apologies to u, that u did not have the experience u wanted."

There were a few cracked and chipped pavers that they came back out to repair. At that time I had added additional patio with the left over pavers. I can’t be happier. The final project looks awesome.

Stay away from this company, even though the owner Hugo might offer you an attractive pricing. Extra few hundred dollars are NOT worth all the hustle, cheap plants, mediocre quality and extremely bad customer service. I hired them to do 2-3 days long work project, the contract the provide structured to get most of the money upfront, which is the bait. After deposit is received the owner starts coming up with ton of excuses why he can't either start, continue or finish the work. The actual job went though numerous delays, cut corners on the quality, which owner tries to hide and present that job he does is way to go and if you try to point out at these issues, he gets aggravated. At the job he is acting like he wants to leave as soon as possible, rushing his workers to do the work quickly and at a lousy quality. Instead of 2-3 days it took 2 months to complete at 95%. Hugo refused to come and finish the job stating that he does not have any free worker to do so. I will report his actions to BBB and some government agencies to check on his workers compensation policies and accounting records. UPDATE 10-22-17 In the response posted to my previous post: Angi, no need to lie here about the plants, we presented you the list we wanted and Hugo said he can do it for price he quoted. When he came with plants, he chose the cheapest from the list and added only one, stating that if we want more, we have to buy on our own and he will plan them. When he installed borders, he add cement only to some of them, because he ran out of it and instead of being a professional and coming back to finish the rest of work, he simply covered that area with mulch, hoping no one will notice it. When I confronted him with this issue, he became aggravated and stated that it is OK to have those borders without cement, so now if someone passing by and accidentally bumps one of them, they fall like domino. You are a bad quality company, you could have fixed everything in about an hour, but instead you are spending your time trying to prove me wrong. Hugo admitted over the phone that he will fix it, but he never came to do it. Good luck proving to others that you are a great company, whoever has internet access now and can get to any of the sites where your company appears will be able to read my opinion.

"Thank you for expressing yourself, however the need for insults and accusations is not necessary. Hugo has reached out to you. He did complete the project that you contracted for. Before starting he went back and forth with you numerous times trying to accommodate all your requests that Exceeded your budget. There was communication in person, on phone and emails and revisions to the scope of work each time. Once the project was agreed upon it started promptly. Yes, there was a delay because of the exceedingly heavy continuous days of rain, not months, which we communicated and apologized for. The plants installed were first quality from reputable suppliers. He even did a few extra items for you for free as a courtesy while on site. At completion you were satisfied and did pay your project in full. In regard to your other comments; Regardless if the check is made payable to the company or him is not relevant since he is the company and your project is in our records. To insinuate otherwise is Liable. The continuation of you writing ugly, bullying, threatening remarks on whatever site you can shows us there is nothing we can ever do to satisfy you. Hugo started his company in 1988 when a handshake was his contract, only word of mouth reputation. there have only been a handful of clients through 30+years that he could not make happy and I apologize that we could not do anything more to change your mind and these ratings. Provided excellent service. The contractor built a total of nine patios in our condo building. Eight individual patios and one large common area patio in our courtyard.The groundwork for the patios was done by hand without tearing up the surrounding area outside the perimeter of where the patios would be installed. If heavy machinery would have been used the restoration would have been a major task in this case. The work was done with the utmost skill and craftsmanship. The cleanup was minimal due to the tidiness that was used during the work. Communication between the contractor and our HOA was excellent. The permitting process thru the City Of Deerfield Beach was slow because of typical government bureaucracy and not due to the contractor. The contractor is scheduled to come back and seal all the patios as per paid portion of the contract to do so. The patios have transformed this building into a beautiful and very special place.

The asphalt was in a very deteriorated stage...nevertheless that it had a lot of root damage of the oak I have in my front yard. So this was a hard messy work in very hot & humid weather. They were hampered a bit when my dogs jumped in their new graded and compacted base material to try to bury some bones.
They were prompt, cheerful & courteous (they even disposed of the bones for me). They kept the dirt on a tarp and completely and tidily replaced it afterward.
I've used this company repeatedly, they have done my pool deck, my back yard porch and now my driveway, and they've always gone above and beyond. They warranty their work and nothing has ever gone wrong. On previous jobs, I've pulled the "while you're here, could you look at this, too?" bit. They've done so if their schedule allows, but sometimes said they couldn't, which shows me they respect the customers who are after me.

They did an excellent job on the installation of the deco drain. They delayed the pressure cleaning and sealing portion of the job as they felt that with the rainy season, the pressure cleaning and sealing would be compromised. Good suggestion. They are scheduled to begin this phase this week.

I had a fairly large, old, fence around the entire border of my house, and It was becoming an eye sore. So I called up Angie at Luscious landscaping & Pavers and I asked her what we could do about it. Their response was quick and professional. They suggested we line the fence with areca palms. Even when the plants were first planted I could tell how much better it was going to look! Its been so nice to watch them grow taller and thicker, my backyard is now surrounded by beautiful greenery. They did such a great job! I always recommend them to anyone who is looking for incredible landscaping or paving.

I needed a personal sanctuary in my back yard. I had an empty space that for 16 years had an old swingset and grass only. No personality. No privacy. Well, I gave Hugo and Angi at Luscious Landscaping and Pavers a call and in two weeks, after several design plans were presented, my backyard was transformed into a beautiful and peaceful place we enjoy hanging out in. The landscaping was absolutely perfect. Tropical and private with lots of colors. They also chipped out the old 3x6 cement patio and installed a large, 35x25 custom brick paver patio. WOW! We really expected it to look good and boy did they over-deliver!! Almost 6 months later and we are still amazed and absolutely LOVE our new get-away space!! From the first visit, Hugo listened to what I wanted to have and how we wished to use our outdoor space. He sketched a design and even walked me around my neighborhood to get an idea of the kind of plants I liked. He came up with a competitive price and began the work. His crew was professional, fast, and did a superb job! Hugo was there every step of the way. I was surprised how quickly they got everything done too. Highly recommend Luscious Landscaping and Pavers
