bathroom. Jackson and his crew did a great job fixing it properly. (evidently it had
happened before with the previous owners and not been fixed correctly,
so it happened again.) This was my second experience with Frank Seeber
Roofing. Jackson had sealed (reattached) tiles on a large section of the
roof after I purchased the house a few months earlier. The prices are
fair. They are professional and did a great job.

FRANK SEEBER IS A VERY RUDE AND INSULTING BULLY
Frank Seeber himself showed up in unmarked truck. No courtesy call.
(He was on his cell phone talking with someone about some issue with a boat.)
When I expressed my concerns about not getting a callback on Wednesday at ~9AM to set up an appointment with Frank (as Frank himself had told me the day before), and that I had to call to make the appointment, he immediately cut me off and started leaving, insulting me. He said that we were here and that he did not understand what the big deal was.
I told him that I was trying to tell him, but that he kept cutting me off.
When he finally stopped to listen, I told him of the situation. I also said that I was letting him know of it, as he is the boss, to provide good service, he just kept looking down, then said, "So what do you want me to do about it?"
Frank said that his wife, Ms. Audrey, had her mom in the hospital and that he had a septic tank back up this morning.
When I told him I felt for his loved ones, he once again cut me off and said he didn't care about my concern.
Frank Seeber said he himself told me the appointment time when we originally spoke. I told him that he said that Ms. Audrey would call me early Wed ~9AM to set up appointment. I even asked him for the appointment time twice, and Frank Seeber insisted again that Ms. Audrey would take are of that tomorrow. So I waited...
No call came Wednesday morning. Finally, I phoned at ~11:30AM and got Lori to set up the appointment.
Frank Seeber then said that his papers showed the appointment was made and confirmed. I told him that no confirmation call was made, and that he could call Lori right now to confirm what I said.
He hesitated, then picked up his bag and walked away cursing me and using foul language.
It was then that I told him I'm won't be hiring him.
He became even angrier. He said "It's your fault that you're in the situation you are with a bad roof!"
He also said that he didn't care if I complained about him, specifically: "I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANGIESLIST CUSTOMERS, because they were only from a referral service, and wasn't really concerned about getting bad reviews.
(Yeah -- it shows. ...SO WHY IS HE STILL ON ANGIESLIST????)
"Okay," I said, "so you have a good day," and he snarled back, "Yeah, I'm going to have a better day without a******* like you!" I replied, "Well then, you have a better day."
He kept cursing, then yelled "You're a bad man!" I finally replied, "No, YOU'RE the bad man!"
I don't want to believe that Frank Seeber has always been a jerk, and I'm sure he does quality work as a roofer. Now, since he is dealing with an unfortunate family illness (plus a backed-up septic tank and a boat), it seems that his personal life is affecting his attitude toward customers. Right now, Frank Seeber is a very rude and inconsiderate bully who accepts no responsibility for his behavior, and appears to be on the edge of losing it.
If you hire him, expect him to demand his way and walk off on the job at the first sign of an issue, or his own personal challenges.
BTW: His employee and my first contact, James is a good guy. He was professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Too bad HE isn't Frank Seeber.
And after newly reviewing the AngiesList comments, it seems that Frank Seeber Roofing has more than a few complaints. Apart from this one, the most recent are listed on 03JAN2014 and 28AUG2013.
Now, all positive comments seen are mostly directed at his employees, whom I also found to be helpful and professional. In my experience, Lori was also cheerful and helpful. Unfortunately, IT IS FRANK SEEBER HIMSELF whose insulting attitude toward customers has most certainly lost the Seeber family a lot of business.
Good Luck, Frank's customers. And I hope Ms. Audrey Seeber's mother recovers from her illness.

I called ANGIESLIST (888) 888?LIST(-5478) and spoke with Matthew. I recounted to him the rudeness of Frank Seeber. hE COULD NOT FIND A LISTING FOR "Frank Seeber Roofing," but instead He discovered that Frank Seeber Construction also exists.
Matthew told me to do a follow-up complaint on this site, so here I am (finally)
"In our 30 years of business we have only come across a few customers like this one... He was very demanding and aggressive towards Mr. Seeber and made Mr. Seeber feel extremely uncomfortable in the consultation meeting. This customer was demanding a lower price and threatened Mr. Seeber a bad review on Angie's List if he would not go down in his price( He is abusing his Angie's List Privileges). It was is our best interest to DECLINE to do any work for him. This whole review is a fabricated lie and is very concerning to us that he made it so personal,,,, THIS WAS SIMPLY A FREE ESTIMATE.... Frank Seeber Roofing did NO work for him. Something seems really off on this review...all over a FREE ESTIMATE!!"

Frank Roofing company's crew led by Mr. Jackson came to repair the roof on July 22nd 2014. They finished the job in four hours. It has been one month and we had several heavy rain but there was no roof leakage. They have done excellent job in fixing the roof.
In future for any roofing repair we will consider them.
I will recommend this company for Super Service Award.
