First Class Autosports

I took my fresh from the dealer Tesla Model 3 here looking to get a clear PPF applied to protect the paint. I thought I was going to get a custom job like I had been reading and watching about. I'm not going to say what they did was bad. I'm not going to say they didn't try very hard. Just know, First Class Autosports does not wrap edges when applying paint protective film. I paid about $5000 for "full PPF", tints all around (including windshield), and ceramic coating on the PPF and wheels. And it looks very shiny and it feels very slick. But I thought the professionals wrapped the edges of the body when applying PPF. It's not like they don't know how, because they wrapped the hood beautifully. They even wrapped where the trunk meets the rear window, and the top of the trunk is seamless. They didn't wrap the edges of the doors, and you feel it like a butter knife scraping your hand every time you close it. They didn't wrap the edge of the trunk, and you feel it just like the doors. They didn't wrap the wheel wells, and the dirt collects there just hours after picking it up. Obviously they didn't edge wrap any of the harder to reach places. I saw they work they do on vinyl wraps (gorgeous) and know they can do a proper edge wrap PPF. But for what they're charging, they don't do that. They guessed at $8000 for edge wrapping. Get it in writing when you go somewhere else for your professional grade wrap job. These guys are working off stock templates for the most part and you probably want someone who uses a sheet and custom applies it. Not that I didn't get a good deal but I didn't get the service I thought I was buying. Upon pickup I did note that this isn't what I thought I was paying for. They made it clear you cannot wrap edges with PPF. That it falls off. That it breaks. That it fails. That it cracks. It does not stretch. You cannot edge wrap. Except they did, sometimes. If you think the professionals leave a 1/4 inch around every panel with no PPF and don't edge wrap anything, disregard this review. Tints are good.
