We always value customer insights as they help us improve our services. However, we would like to clarify a few details regarding your move. When you originally booked your move, your estimate was based on 846 cubic feet and quoted at $4500. During the quality assurance call, we found that your estimate increased to 1,336 cubic feet, which understandably caused a price adjustment. Additionally, in that call, you mentioned that you were discarding numerous items that were included in the initial estimate as "not taking." On the day of the move, the movers arrived, and you added additional items such as 10 wardrobe boxes, 10 dish packs, 15 mirror boxes, 2 refrigerators, 3 bedroom dressers, patio furniture, and 4 storage cabinets. Please keep in mind that packing was also necessary for these items, and you had a 10x20 storage unit that was 40-50% full, which contributed to the increase in your total price. Please understand we have all the call recording and emails documented to back up everything we are saying. It?s important to acknowledge that while customers sometimes wish to place blame on the company, transparency in inventory is key for an accurate estimate. We believe that accountability is a two-way street, and we encourage honesty in providing all relevant information upfront. Regarding your inquiry about a refund, you did dispute your charges with your bank and our records show that we dispatched movers to your location and were prepared to perform your move. However, you opted to send the movers away, despite the offer of over $1,500 in discounts. Therefore, the movers did not travel to your location without a purpose. Despite the difficulties you have raised, we remain committed to working with you to reach a satisfactory resolution. This information is also documented in the estimate you signed both at the time of booking and during our quality assurance call with management. We have reviewed the recorded phone calls, and I want to assure you that there was no yelling from anyone on our team. We maintain a respectful and supportive environment for our staff, and we take any allegations of unprofessional behavior very seriously. Please understand that moving items up and down stairs requires substantial extra effort, which is why there are additional fees associated with stairs and long carries. On a positive note, I want to emphasize that our movers not only discounted the fees for the extra items you added but also waived the stair fees as a courtesy.
