we purchased a home with living room and dining room cornice window treatments that didn't work with our furnishings, and anticipated having to throw them out, but decided to purchase fabric and attempt to recover them ourselves. Am I ever glad we did not do that. There is more to it than meets the eye. Someone mentioned Seams Like Old Times. The professionalism and detailing and quality of their work is outstanding. I do sew- but couldn't have done what they did. Delivery is prompt - prices are quite reasonable - they are a pleasure all the way around.

I have been sewing since childhood but there are some tasks that require a professional. We needed a bridesmaid gown hemmed, this was a total of 21 feet of delicate material, not an amateur matter. Rachel did a superb job and it was ready earlier than promised. I was more than impressed and very grateful.
