We gave Clark's Home Improvement $3300 up front for the materials. They ordered the windows and came back 5 weeks later with the wrong size.  At that time they told us they were going to return those windows but could not get the correct size.  We told Brett at that time that we want a refund of our money.  These windows are available in the size we need as they are very popular in this area.  Since that time we have not heard back from them at all.  They took our deposit and they have not returned it.  They will not answer our calls or return them.  We have filed a lawsuit and have a court date set for March 2015.

UPDATE 4/29/2015

Went to court and won the judgement for $3840.00. Mr Clark never showed up. So much for telling the truth and standing up for yourself. I will be a lot more careful now. Also mr Clark will be getting a Citation for NO LICENSE. Also he never got a permit for the job.

"After being hired, the customer was aware special order windows are Non Refundable. They acknowledged and wrote a check for $3,300.00 order the windows. The windows came in and they were the CORRECT SIZE however we were unaware they were the INCORRECT WINDOW TYPE until we arrived at the job site and opened the packaging. The windows were then returned and the new windows re-ordered. During that time, the customer cancelled the job. Again it was explained the special order windows were NON REFUNDABLE, however, we would work with them in trying to get the refund. Keeping customers happy is our goal even if it meant coming from from our own pockets. Brett had been in contact with the customer by phone on a weekly basis. It was only after the customer served Clark's Home Improvements with court papers that we ended communication with them. In 17 years of being business we have never been sued by a customer, nor has a customer lost any money due to our negligence. We strive to make sure every customer is satisfied with the job they hired Clark's Home Improvements to perform."

They performed the work well. I cannot comment really on their timelyness or not because the house is unoccupied and I gave them the key and told them I was not in a rush(this was before I realized I had a roof leak :(  ). So as far as I can tell they did the work just fine in a timely fashion. I am happy with the work and I did not hear any complaints from neighbors.
