Steve came out to review work needed to be done and we agreed on estimated cost. He returned Monday morning, Apr 6, to start the job, tackling the master bath shower first. This ceiling needed replacing due to staining from roof leaks; after removing the ceiling it was obvious the entire light fixture would need to be replaced as would the insulation that had been blown in by the builder. After everything was cleared out, Steve took the time to get up on his ladder and look up into the attic area for any potential problems. He ensured all the old insulation was cleaned out and bagged up. Next phase was cutting/installing the drywall for the ceiling - very professional job. While the mud was drying, Steve began the work on the garage project. That one turned out easier - thought it was going to take replacement of ceiling there, too, but Steve went up into the attic and looked at it from below and determined the ceiling was actually in good shape, just stained. So that job consisted of removing damaged popcorn in the area, secure loose seams and retape if necessary, and prime (applying Kilz coat). He went back and finished up the shower, and then back to the garage to retape any loose areas, retexture the ceiling. Last was painting of the one wall of the garage matching the existing ("builder" white) paint. All of that work was done over 3 days during which time he was always professional, did his job, was friendly but didn't stand around and chat when he needed to be busy. He's a one-man operation but he gets the work done! Definitely would hire again.
