Dave was great to work with. He recently refinished my old plaster ceilings that were cracking and chipping. He was very careful to move the furnishings to not cause any damage and even rehung our ceiling fan. There was one small area that we were not happy with and Dave quickly came out to fix the area. Very pleased with his work, professionalism and timeliness. I would be happy to work with Dave again in the future.

Very happy with the work. Dave is in high demand so it took a few weeks for him to get to us but he kept in touch so we did not think he had forgotten us.

It went extremely well. Much more extensive damage than Dave was expecting when he got into the problem. It took two days to repair the ceiling and a lot of difficult work. Dave took it all in stride and did a wonderful job. He was cheerful, courteous, kept the dust & dirt to a minimum and tidied up afterwards. His price was extremely fair. The finished product looks great. I would highly recommend him.

Dave was professional and courteous. His workmanship was top notch. The ceiling looks great. Most importantly, he took great care in protecting my furniture and home from the debris and mess that a repair like this can cause. I am very pleased overall.

This guy is amazing!! We are thrilled with the results of his workmanship! We have spent thousands of dollars on the never-ending update projects in our home, which was built in 1977. We just didn't have the budget to spend too much more to scrape and re-do ceilings in the home after the unfortunate almost-falling-through-the-ceiling incident. The first contractor who gave us a bid chastised us for painting the yellowed ceiling, and he insisted that there was no way anyone could patch the ceiling and make it match the existing popcorn. His bid came in at $1,600 for re-doing the ceiling in the living room and hallway, with us scraping down the existing ceiling ourselves. Thankfully, I did another search on Angie's List, looking for someone who had some expertise in the repair of these older ceilings. Dave Woods was an amazing find, and we can't say enough good things about him. He has a great personality, he is fair (especially when we could gouge people like us who are totally at his mercy), and his work is impeccable. We highly recommend him.

After a total foundation rebuild, my circa 1925 bungalow needed interior plaster repair. I was impressed from the outset by Dave's knowledge and experience. Like many owners of historic homes, I've had a hard time finding tradespeople who understand old houses, appreciate their many virtues, and can work on them. Dave did the work neatly, expertly, and I am totally happy with the repairs!

Dave came at once when I called him and quoted a price for all the work. He scheduled the job as quickly as he could, given his very busy work schedule--putting me at the top of his list because he knew we were trying to sell the house. He notified us the day before he came, called again that morning and arrived on time. In one day he cut out sheetrock, repaired a ceiling and installed new sheetrock, scraped and replastered walls, cleaned up damaged ceiling spots and applied popcorn. He covered walls, moved furniture, cleaned up when he was done and left the place immaculate. He gave me specific instructions (and some paint) to cover the walls when the plaster dried--just as I'd asked him. We could not have asked for better service nor a more professional job.

Dave paid a lot of attention to detail and his work was excellent. Dave does thorough work and we were impressed at the mistakes he caught of others. When he saw a problem, he would point it out and he fixed several of the problems himself at no extra charge. He was careful to keep my house as clean as possible with him going in and out for supplies. Always a kind gentleman in all his dealings with us. He told us it would take him a week and that is exactly how long it took.

He arrived to look at the job when he said he would. He started the job on time and finished on time. He is very well organized and takes good care of his equipment. He started by covering our porcelain floor with masonite to protect it. He cleaned up every afternoon before leaving. The quality of his work is exceptional.

Dave did a amazing job. Years ago his father did work for me and you could not tell where the new work began or ended. He passed on his craft to his son. It is absolutely impossible to tell where that skylight was! If you want a seamless job, Dave is your man.
