Palm State Plumbing got rid of all the old cast iron pipe and replaced 95% of all the pipes in my house. This house was built in 1932 and we are doing a complete gut-and-remodel. Joe has been outstanding to work with. He even helped me through the process when my general contractor quit and I had to become my own GC. Honest, fair, ethical, professional. I highly recommend PSP!

Joe is a licensed plumber. I hired him primarily because he had done work for my son and my son was very pleased with his work. I wasn't in any great hurry to have the work done, but Joe was able to come out the next day after I contacted him. He charges a flat fee of $75 to come out and do 30 minutes of work. Then, it costs $75 for each additional hour. I was with Joe the entire time and did help out when it made sense to have an extra pair of hands. I had previously cleared away everything in the way of the job so that he could get started right away. He worked very fast but not so fast as to cause mistakes or rework. There weren't any breaks. Everything went okay, but the new tub drain I had previously purchased at the hardware store would not fit. Joe contacted a local plumbing supplier to find the correct part and went and picked it up. I paid for the new part, but Joe did not charge for the extra trip or time. Joe is somewhat of a perfectionist and made sure that the new installation was not only mechanically correct but looked correct, i.e., was not crooked. In the second bathroom, which was being remodeled, the toilet had been installed on a 6" platform which was being removed. The job was to cut off the excess waste pipe and install a new toilet mounting flange flush with the floor. This also was accomplished very quickly. In summary, I think Joe does excellent quality work. He is very easy to communicate with and I thought the amount charged was fair for the time spent.
