Besides Bob being a true craftsman in his profession, is is also honest. Even to the point to discouraging revenue to him when there was a better option. I respect that. His recommendation was clearly in the customer's best interest, not his own. Integrity. All too rare these days.

The bathroom looks brand new!

I could not be happier with the service and work that was done.

Once the bathroom was prepped, Bob from Nu Shine arrived. He had previously given me a quote of $1007 to repair and coat all the tile and tub. I had received another quote that was almost identical. Bob spent several hours prepping the tile and discovered a line of 10 hairline cracked tiles that needed repair. We discussed this and I agreed to another $100 for his time to repair this tile. If you are considering this type of project, be advised that there will be a strong chemical smell from the very beginning as acetone, epoxy and other products are used. The smell in my house lingered for a day or so. Bob used a ventilation fan with a flexible duct to blow the air out of the bathroom while he was spraying. He worked late into the evening and clearly was concerned that his work was of good quality. The bathroom came out beautifully.

I am just amazed at Bobs attention to detail and follow through. We were preparing our home for sale and had a cracked spa tub. It took a lot of time and work to get it repaired, but by the time he was done with all our resurfacing, it was a totally new bathroom. The quality of his work is unmatched! I had contacted another company for a quote which was a nation wide company. They did not show up several times due to disorganization in their office. I was thankful I hired Bob to do the job and will be recommending him often! He was sensitive to our time and our concerns, and gave above and beyond!

Excellent. Bob was on time, very friendly and did a great job. Price blew the competition away, and he did an incredible job matching the existing tile.

Bob repaired  tiles that were drilled for a glass shower door and hairline cracks. He refinishing the sunshine yellow with black trim tile and same color tub in a beautiful white. It looked beautiful.  During the course of our remodel contractors damaged the finish of the tub and a couple of  tiles. Bob returned today and repaired both good as new. We could not be happier.

Arrived timely, completed work, vented fumes, was courteous and professional. Obviously an expert! Kept me informed regarding costs for additional work (stripping) and additional cost for non skid surface. I am very pleased with this provider.

More than I had expected.

It was really a great experience.  Although it ended up having to be put off for a couple of days since I had a leak in my faucet.  They gave me the name of a good plumber and he returned after that and did the job.  It looks brand new.

It's brand new, absolutely brand new. It was in really bad shape. The paint was peeling off and stuff from a lousy job that was done a couple of years ago and he did it right. He also repaired some damage on a second tub that we have at a very reasonable price. So, now I have two tubs. That's wonderful. He was a little early. He called to let me know that he was on the way and to make sure that it was okay. He is very very professional. He knows what he is doing. He takes real pride in his work. There was nothing that could have been done differently. We chose him from Angie's List based on reviews. Originally, I had spoken to Jean about coming out to do a quote. It was hard for him to get here because he services a very large area. I wanted to get the work done. So, I booked it, just based on her professionalism on the phone, the estimates given on the phone and the reviews from Angie's List. I have no regrets. It was perfect.

They did an excellent job. So many people have said that the tile doesn't even look painted--that it looks like original tile. The tub looks brand new as well, and is very easy to clean.
Bob was very polite and professional. He even fixed a problem with our toilet that had existed from the prior owner. He discovered the problem when he removed the toilet, because he pays attention to details--not the kind of guy who just paints around the toilet.
In addition, and most importantly, they did the work really quickly, all within two days! They worked really hard.
Finally, the company itself great to work with. The lady (can't remember her name) who schedules appointments is so nice and easy to talk to, AND WHAT A REASONABLE PRICE!

Bob Kistner, owner, did a wonderful job-looks like a new bathroom and I am well pleased with the job. I would highly recommend him.

Bob arrived on time and spent the entire day sanding, priming and painting the bathtub. He made sure that no spray from the paint would get on anything else in the bathroom. This required a lot of preparation before he could get to work. He also recommended a color he thought would best match the other fixtures. He had to return the next day to finish the job; it was worth the wait as I am extremely pleased with the result. I would hire him again.

Hired another company, Would NEVER recommend this company.

I decided not to use their services because I am going to get a new tub rather than get it refinished. They were very prompt, polite, and professional. I think their price was reasonable.
