LEONE ROOFING

1.  The  initial  estimate  was  $1000  less  than  the  final  cost. I  believe  the  intial  offer  was  done to match  another  offer
     that  I had (snowballing), with  the  full  intent  of  increasing  the  cost  to match his original offer.  I  found  them very 
    DECEPTIVE. My mistake  was proving that  information to them  about  the lesser offer.  The  reason I went  with them, paticularly  was because  they could do it  right  away.
    After  charging me $1000  more and  purchasing  more wood/lumber.  Some was  left  and  I  asked  if it was  mine,  he  said  
   no, they brought it  here  when  they initially  started.  (which is not  true) I saw them bring  it on  day 3  of  the  job.
2.  I had a  problem in December  of  2013  with a  portion  of the  roof.  I  called Mr. Leone  three  times and left  messages.
     None  of my  calls  were  returned. I finally  had  to  hire a  Lawyer, which  cost  me  $125,00,  to  write  him a  letter  reminding
    him  of the  warranty  that  I  supposedly   had.  The  letter  indicated  he  had  7  days  to contact/call  me.  Well, he  did  not call
    until the 7th  day.
    After calling  on the  7th  day,  he  didnt  show  up  2  different  times  he  said  he  was  scheduled  to come. He   finally  called 
      and  came  after cancelling  twice
3. When he  did  come,  he  said,  the  problem  I  had  with  the  roof  was  not as a  result  of  his  work. So  he  didnt  honor the 
warranty  or fix it  at  no charge. Consequently, I had   to pay  someone  else  to do the  repair. So basically the warranty  that  he  gave  is no  good.  If  I  have  any other  problems,  I  will probably have to hire another  roofing   company to do  the repair. I really dont trust  this  company at my property anymore.I  have found  him to be very  intimidating.

It went very well. They did What they were supposed to do and answered all my questions,,, The only concern I had was how long the job was going to take. We were in the middle of a rainy period so that did have an impact. I had to leave town before they were finished but they finished and I came home to my nice new roof which passed inspection that Monday

John Leone is the owner and he works on site with the crew. His price was outstanding-- it blew every other bid away. Service was great, too. Happy with everything.

THEY SAID THEY PUT IN A NEW ROOF BUT DID NOT REMOVE THE OLD SHINGLES. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW UP ON WARRANTIES AND WON'T TAKE CARE OF PROBLEMS INITIATED FROM THE WORK.
