Following is a list of problems with the work done by LEMIEUX BUILDERS LLC.
1) Tile installation had many issues to include.... lipping, chipped and scalloped tile, hollow tiles, uneven grout lines and the floor was not leveled correctly. Mr. Lemieux attempted to say the damage to the tile was caused by the manufacturer yet he was present when the tile was purchased and didn't point out any issues at that time.
2) The ceiling texturing was not finished where work was done in the entry way of the home.
3) The damage caused by his crew to the entry stoop of the home was never fixed and we had to hire another contractor to take care of the repair.
4) The work area was never cleaned up and Mr. Lemieux left a large green construction debris bag on the front lawn. It took over two months after the completion of the job for the bag to be removed which resulted in killing the grass.
Upon my husbands return from Afghanistan we contacted Mr. Lemieux to discuss the issues and reach a resolution. Mr. Lemieux came to our home and acknowledged there were legitimate problems and agreed to return with a plan of resolution, however he did not return, nor would he respond to our e-mails, phone calls or registered letters. In March 2015 we filed a small claims suit in Pinellas County FL (case # 522015C0022119SC) against LEMIEUX BUILDERS LLC and awarded a $5,000.00 plus court costs judgment. To date, Mr. Lemieux has made no attempt to contact us or comply with the court order.
UPDATE-/5/2016 Still no response or payment of Judgment.
