Christine did a wonderful job fixing the problem with my car. The price was reasonable and I was able to get service in a short period of time. I love the fact that it's owned by women.

Overall the experience was good. Two ladies run the place and it's very nice and clean. They came out in the parking lot and looked at it for me, but everything seemed fine.

This is the only place that I would get my work done. They were super honest and very good. The very first time that I ever went there, I had a wind shield wiper put down on my car. They were supposed to be paid by the company that I bought my car from and I told them to charge this company good because they should not have let me take the car home with a wiper missing but they said that they would not charge. I insisted that they charged them but they said that they would not because it only cost a couple of dollars. I have been there several times. I went there when I needed the brakes done which cost me $400. I also went in for oil but they always did a complete inspection when they did the oil and told me if my car needed anything. When they did the brakes, they brought them out and showed me the brakes. They explained to me as to what was wrong and why it was wrong. They were very upfront and I would not do business with anybody else. I never had to take my car back to them after they did something. They have been a good place.

After one visit it's easy to see why Hummel Auto is rated so highly. I am extremely leary of auto repair places and have used quite a few in the area. From the time my husband and I walked through the door, we noticed it was very different. Clean, bright, pleasant office/lounge area (no grease smell lingering in the air and no mechanics screaming in the background :-). Then we spoke with Christine who was extremely customer-oriented, professional and knowledgeable. She entered the information into the computer and then gave us some preliminary information and an idea of costs for the radiator and the window depending on what they found during the diagnostic testing. A couple of hours later we were given the final estimate and we ok'd them to do the repairs. My minivan was ready by 5pm that day. They brought my vehicle to the front for me and we dealt with a different person at check-out. Also very courteous and professional. This was the first time we used Hummel but it sure won't be the last.

The place is owned and run by a Christine. She knows cars, how to fix them and maintain them in running order, she is professional and is very honest. When it comes to my car, I trust her completely. She has serviced my car twice and both times i was very happy with the results. In May, as I was leaving FL, my car was hit in the back and I was unable to close the trunk. In addition, the trunk was loaded with things I was transporting to Buffalo. The accident happened near Hummel Tire and Auto. Christine and a coworker came out bunggied my trunk and taped to waterproof it. She took her time and materials and did not charge me anything for it; only wished me a good trip. I really appreciated her help and her genuine kindness. I got home fine and had my car repaired.

Excellent work. The car ran much better. Very reliable.

Went very well. They are professional, pleasant and very efficient. I will continue to use them for both of my vehicles. All of their other customers appeared to be very happy with their work as we watched them checking out when we dropped the car off and when we picked it up.

Christine was so helpful, she notified us as soon as the problem was diagnosed. We were informed we could have a safe repair done for $400-$500 or order a new harness and wiring for $1300. I appreciate having a choice and having confidence from previous experiences with Hummel that I could choose the less expensive option and know that a true and safe repair had been made to this vehicle. Christine saved the parts to show me the damage that had been done and made suggestions to keep rodents away; as I learned this is a fairly common problem with autos parked outside and not driven every day. The staff at Hummel has always been professional and personable. Another great job for our family. Thanks!

Well the dealership said it was not the catalystic converter, but while the car was there for "3 hours" they took it upon themselves to do a full inspection and pointed out several items that should be fixed. I told them "thank you very much", paid my service fee and took it back to Hummel for the repairs. The repairs were completed, it was a little bit cheaper, and the noise is still there !

They do a very good job. They take the car and pretty much look at what you tell them. They then put it up on the rack and check it. They then give you the synopsis and see what the issues could be. Auto repair is expensive in general, but they are pretty much in line with others as far as cost is concerned. They don?t try to up-sell anything. The manager there originally was a Jewish guy and was brought up in New York. I would rather do business with a Jew since they always wanted you to come back. There are some people who take your money and don?t care if you come back or not. However, he was always good, but he relocated. I then asked the lady who owns the auto service center as to what happened to the manager and she told me that he moved to another state. I had bought a 10 year old Mercedes and she sat with me and showed me every button. She knew how to do that. She had worked for other auto companies as a service manager and she has a shop of her own too. Hummel Tire & Auto is always busy and you never hear anybody really complaining. They have done oil changes, tire work, radiator work and other repairs. The owner told me that they really didn?t have the equipment to fix the idiot light during my last visit, but she recommended another service shop. If she doesn?t feel comfortable in getting some job done, then she will recommend somebody else. Everyone that I have recommended has had a good experience with Hummel Tire & Auto. They charged about $69 for the oil change that they did during my last visit. They need to suck the oil out in a Mercedes since there is no drain plug and then you need to put synthetic oil back in. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Excellent! Christine and Jessica and their staff are totally professional. When I brought my car in for diagnosis of a sort of roaring sound (as if I had truck tires instead of passenger tires), they put it up on the rack and immediately dx'd the problem. I had just returned from a 1500 mile round trip and they told me that my wheel could have come off of my car, that I could not drive it again until the wheel assembly was replaced. I would have to rent a car until Monday PM because the part was not available locally, not even the dealership had it. I was thankful that I had not had a horrendous wreck because of this, but also so rattled that Christine called rental agencies for me. Jessica drove me to Clw/St. Pete Airport to rent the only car available on that Saturday morning. My car was fixed on Monday as soon as the part came in and I turned in the rental car; Jessica came to the airport to pick me up and take me back to Hummel. Even though that put them past their closing time, they were totally gracious about it. For sure, Hummel will always be my car's service provider. I could not ask for more knowledgeable, patient and competent staff to deal with me or my vehicle.

Wonderful!!!!!! Christine knows cars & I've been to a LOT of places that don't! When we picked up the car, the male clerk took his time describing what they did, even though there was someone behind us in line! That was a shock! I'm very impressed with Hummel Tire & Auto & I'm a TOUGH customer! I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

Very good honest work, work was inexpensive. They always seem to have a smile on.

A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND POLITE. THEY SHOWED, AND DISCUSSED ALL OPTIONS. WE DID HAVE A SIGNIFICANT WAIT TIME TO GET TIRES MOUNTED.
