Erdoesy Home Appliance Service

Excellent. I have been using Erdoesy (Tom) for many years. He worked on my appliances when I lived in Holiday in the late 80's and early 90's. Not knowing he also serviced the St Petersburg area, I had called another company to fix my dryer when I moved to St Petersburg, FL back in 1995. The other company did more damage to the dryer and were thrown out of my house. On a whim, I called Erdoesy to find out he also serviced St Petersburg. He replaced the part the other company broke (the button on the dryer door) as well as repaired the original problem (thermostat) that was keeping the dryer from working in the first place. He only charged me 75 dollars back then. Now I live in a different house in St Petersburg. None of my burners worked at all on my whirlpool stove, sparking badly and wouldn't heat up.I thought the stove was gonna burn my house down. It was SCARY. I called Erdoesy and made an appointment for the following Friday. Tom wanted to come and assess the job, then make a follow-up appointment to replace just what was broken on a another time to save me money by not replacing things that didn't need to be replaced. I just wanted it DONE the first time. I actually told him, "I don't have time to save money". I asked him to bring all new burners and blocks and he did. He arrived exactly on time. This was important because I had a lot going on that day and was trying to coordinate an AC preventative maintenance and some other handy man stuff. I believe Tom is very trustworthy and honest. If I hadn't needed to be home for other folks coming to do other work, I would have felt comfortable leaving him alone in my house to run the errands I needed to run while he was replacing all those parts. I am very satisfied with his level of knowledge, skill and ability. He is very nice and considerate. I will not make the mistake of calling a different repairman again.
