"***FUTURE CONTRACTORS BEWARE OF THE [Johnsons]*** Extremely Complex Pool Remodel for people of poor character. This is a bitter, defamatory, fraudulent review by them and motivated by a failed attempt to not pay contractor for services performed as per signed contract just past mid point of construction. Numerous project photos can be provided showing pool being completed with homeowner in the photos. Homeowner fails to mention COVID impacted shortages for supplies resulting in guys being delayed and not being on site. Project was substantially completed by Blue Lagoon Pools & Landscapes Inc. Pool got new tile, coping, decking, sheen finish and filled with water with equipment running with the exception of one of three sheer decent fountain led light strips needing replacement due to manufacture defect. ****Client failed to comply with a signed contract payment of terms for the draw schedule and tried to pay far less numerous times without cause and then blatantly admitted that they had “NO INTENTIONS TO FOLLOW THE CONTRACT PAYMENT SCHEDULE". This forced an “Immediate All Stop” on the project until payment was made per signed contractual agreement. Client was was professionally warned that if payment wasn’t made per signed contractual agreement schedule that legal counsel would be pursued. Payment was made and work resumed immediately the following morning.**** Client fails to mention four no charge upgrades on the project in attempt to please them over COVID delays. Skimmer, light upgrades and paver deck expansion just to name a few were performed at no charge due to unforeseen delays in shortages. Lien releases were provided to cover a large percentage of all work completed.
