ALTERATIONS BY ALICE

Alice is amazing. I recently purchased four blouses, but they were all too long. I remembered seeing a post for Alterations by Alice on the Nextdoor City Park & Tower blog so I gave Alice a call. We agreed to meet the next evening. She said she would have the blouses ready the next day. I explained I didn't need them for a couple of weeks. Well, she called me the next morning as I was on my way to work. She finished them the evening before!!! Her workmanship is so professional. I am so pleased with the finished products and so pleased to have found someone I will keep using for alterations. Thank you Alice!!

I’ve had many clothing pieces altered by Alice! Bridesmaid dresses, designer jumpsuits, etc. You name it she can sew it! She is reasonably priced and her work is so fast. Often times she finishes the projects the same day I drop them off! Look no further for a seamstress!!

This business is amazing!! Alice is so personable and the quality of her work is exceptional. The is no way to see the sleeves on the suit jacket had any alterations. She had to take some extra time and effort to professionally do the alteration and didn't charge extra. Even better, she did the work in record time. Thank you Miss Alice for a great experience. We will definitely go back for any alterations in the future.

Wow! Alice is an amazing find. I had three long travel skirts that were utterly useless to me because of the length.
They had not been worn in years. However, they were too good to discard. Alice has now transformed them into
three stylish skirts for both travel and to be worn around town, since I am tired wearing pants all the time. I'll be looking
into my closet to see if she can perform some more miracles in the future.

Called Alice to ask about having three pair of new pants hemmed. She scheduled a time that same afternoon for us to come by and have measurements done. Left 2 pair of men's pants and one pair of ladies all to be hemmed with cuffs at 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon. Alice called with job completed the next morning about 9:00 am. Took another 3 pair pants to be hemmed over to her when we picked up original job and they were ready the next day. Very nice lady, great price, great work and very prompt service. We live in St Petersburg part time and Georgia part time. Will be bringing any and all alterations both from Georgia and from St Petersburg to her in the future.

she is Oriental and refused to sew my quilt pieces together because they are Kantha and made in India. She said that the country is filthy and she could not touch the material and that I should send it back! I love the quilts they are amazing and beautiful even if the country isnt!! She was nice about though very cute sweet tiny old woman!

I called Alice around noon time to schedule a time to have alterations done to my suits. She made time that afternoon and I was off to her location. She is a very pleasant person and the entire experience was very easy. She had me try on everything and marked where she had to take in and hem. In less than 20 hours she had everything done and I was picking up my clothes the next day and everything was done to perfection. I would not hesitate to recommend Alice to anyone, she is a very nice women who does an excellent job at a very reasonable price. She is a gem!!

Alice was very responsive. She got me in the same day and was finished with the job within 24 hours. She is very good and knows what she is doing. I would highly recommend her.

Alice is absolutely wonderful to work with. She really knows her stuff and gives helpful suggestions. Her turnaround time is awesome; usually next day. You can't beat that. She has really flexible hours and will accommodate your schedule. I have referred several of my friends to her and they all agree - Alice is AWESOME!!!

Alice is AWESOME! She came to the house to do the estimate, was clearly very knowledgeable about hemming different curtain types, and she had very competitive pricing. When she took the curtains away, she worked on them that night and the next morning. I had them back in less than 24 hours. Perfectly done and even pressed so they were ready to hang. I was very impressed and would definitely use Alice again for any alterations or repairs.

Overall it went very well. It was done within 2 days and looked very nice. I am a plus-size girl and was worried that the spaghetti straps would break, but she did a great job of reinforcing them to make sure they weren't flimsy. I'm not sure that the price I paid was the cheapest around, but I felt it was definitely worth it because Alice did a great job and I will be entrusting her with future garments as well.

Great. Alice is very personable and also seems knowledgeable. She explained what she would do on each piece. Her work was fast and of good quality.

Alice is very friendly, has a changing room and gets the work done quickly.
