My family of four plus my parents recently moved from Kentucky and had our stuff packed into uhaul trucks and we drove it down ourselves. We initially moved into two apartments with the majority of our stuff going into a storage unit. We hired Family Movers of Brandon to meet us at our apartment to move our furniture into our second story apartment. They were prompt and worked fast. We then took the guys over to the storage unit for them to unload our stuff from the trucks into storage. No issues, took them about 5-6 hours to do all of the work.
Then my family of four found a house, we again hired the movers to move our stuff from our apartment and the entire storage unit into our new home. They were prompt and very courteous. This time when moving it took them 10 hours to move our stuff into the home. I'm not exactly sure what changed and why it took so much longer. The guys never took breaks, ate lunch in the truck on the way to the storage unit. It wasn't as if they were dragging their feet.
As we unpacked things from our storage unit we noticed almost all of our furniture was nicked/torn. I can't say that Family Movers did this in either move. It could have happened during our move from Kentucky. I don't plan to move anytime soon, but would probably use these guys again.
